    R35 Rims Cracking!

Yeah, I read your post about the jack; very interesting! It was more aimed at the post about the OP hiding the truth. Cheers, Dale.
  2. +1. I'm with Russel on this. You're holding all the cards on this one.
  3. Just sent you a PM. Numbers are good mate, 15 parties telling me they're in, 3 confirmed payments. The Group Buy will be closing once I have 10 cleared payments, because the first shipment of bars is 10 sets. There will be further Group Buys as long as there is interest, but the 2nd Group buy will have to wait until the second shipment arrives. Not cracking the whip, but if people wait, you may miss the first run. Thanks for your support guys.

    R35 Rims Cracking!

Look at the pictures of the rim. Where is the evidence of an impact? As for the "if someone had the cash for an r35 they had cash for a spare rim." comment; Just because you have $2000, doesn't mean you want to spend it fixing someone elses stuff up. If the wheel on your new performance car failed; what would you be expecting? If he can afford a GTR; then presumably he could've chosen one of the many other performance cars in and around this price bracket (and no doubt will, in future). If he didn't do anything wrong, why shouldn't it be covered? The GTR is Nissan's Halo model, the jewel in their crown. Surely it would be worth it's weight in gold just in goodwill to replace an aparrently defective part. Plenty of manufacturers have quietly replaced defective parts over the years, where would be the harm in this case?
  5. +1 for BC's. They might be good, but who knows? Go with the proven option, no need to be a guinea pig
  6. Mmm, interesting, will have to keep an eye out.
  7. I'm pretty sure the 350z Brembo disc is the 49mm offset
  8. Spotted black ARX today on the GWH Springwood. New one for my area?
  9. Just found this; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MAXIMA-2004-2006-MODELS-VALVE-COVER-FRONT-OEM-NEW-/150427261162?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item230629d8ea Next question, surely the US Maxima is the same as ours, therefore, this is a VQ part? Anyone willing to take a punt on the visual similarities? If it is the same, the only issue would be the orientation of the engine/gearbox; I'm assuming the gearbox is on the passenger side (Aus model) so, when rotated to run in a RWD/AWD, the front rocker cover would end up being the passenger side (turbo side) in our cars. This might be a cheap way out, providing it's compatible. Opinions?
  10. Thanks for having a look, that was about as far as we could get too. Appreciate the effort. Cheers, Dale.
  11. What a shame if it is a write off. Always hate seeing these, but at least you & your little one are fine. That's worth more than any car.
  12. And Billy Ray-Cyrus's haircut...
  13. Nice work, thought I was going mad. Still good value tho'.
  14. Are you sure its the car? Lol.
  15. Which is why it's just best to start from scratch with ALL fluids & lubricants. Change EVERYTHING; that way you know it's going to done right from now on. You can only do your best to buy a good one, once it's home it's like any other 2nd hand car; things may go wrong, they may not.
  16. Sorry about the thread resurrection; I'm going to call shenanigans on the RCA100 filters, checked at Super Cheap today; about 40mm too long. Did you actually fit one of these Leon?
  17. PM sent +1 for rear; it will fit. I know PN-Mad's front was identical to the NM35, but I'd be guessing your front is likely to be closer to a 350z bar. Sway bar - 32mm heavy duty blade adjustable; BNF33Z Having said that, back to back, the 350z is the same width, and only differs due to the room required to clear the sump/front diff on awd versions.
  18. Hope there's no money on that one...
  19. Oh no! What was the defect? Moustache obscuring numberplate? And yes, Ryan, some did come with LSD's; mine You'll definitely have ATESSA it's the HICAsS that's not so desirable...
  20. Yeah, I'll look at rolling some sheet to the right shape once I receive the bar. If I can get it to look good, I'll probably go that way.
  21. Looks like I've hit a wall. I used all the numbers that everyone has kindly given, and my parts guy Chris, at Nepean Motor Group, has turned out to be quite the FAST guru! The system seems to be just menus, hidden inside menus, hidden inside menus... The numbers did eventually lead us somewhere. We were able to track the Aero Bar to the point where a complete bar could be ordered ($2500!) but we weren't able to find a breakdown of the individual parts that make up the bar. It also din't show the optional driving lights in the front bar. It also appear that when you order the bar it comes colour matched. The biggest issue that stopped us in the end, was the language barrier. There's a lot of japanese text that could possibly provide more info, but we simply didn't know. So unless I can find the bits somehow on Yahoo auctions or IM, I think this ride is over. And if you have one; TAKE CARE OF IT! Thanks again to everyone for you assistance . Cheers, Dale.
  22. Awesome Gary! I'll be in touch to confirm once it appears.
  23. Different Grille, different aperture shape in AXIS bar.
  24. Thanks Cam, that should help out .
