Then I'd say almost defo valve stem seals. If it is valve stem seals I wouldn't be too concerned. Just make sure you keep an eye on your oil level and if it gets worse, like blowing smoke under power and or a lot of of smoke on start up, then it's time to look at getting your head refreshed.

Possibly valve stem seals. Car sits and a small amount of oil weeps past the seal. Start car, give it a squirt and the oil burns off. Give it a comp test and if it comes up chipper, then it's likely the valve stem seals as they won't generally, affect your compression. If comp is down then you have a bigger problem.

Could be plugs then. My plugs fouled so bad that the car wouldn't even start. That said, my car had an underlying issue (coilpacks). Change the plugs.

Check your filters, Troy. If you have one wrong filter selected it can get rid of all the servers. Try removing all filters and see what happens. I'm keen for Saturday night. One caveat though, I often have to go AFK to look after my daughter and/or wife.

i5 2500K and 1600mhz RAM. SFSC is correct, Sandys can go faster (I thought 1600 was the fastest) but in reality I doubt you'd notice a difference between 1333mhz RAM and 2166mhz RAM. I like Corsair RAM, but G Skill is good and a bit cheaper. 8Gb is a nice amount. 16Gb is way overkill, 4Gb is adequate but might be pushed especially when doing graphic stuff.

Dang that's fast. You'd run neck and neck with me....on my bike! In fact you'd probably beat me more often that I'd beat you. Ultimately my R1 is faster but it takes a far more precise run to go that quick. And ANDRA are homos. Seriously, they need to revisit their cage rules for street cars.

Who's keen for a Beef3 night? I'm yet to play this game in a team using Vent/Teamspeak. I can't help but think that would assist greatly in my pwnage.

Most Sandys will run at 1600mhz. Official supported speed on an i5 is 1333 but as long as your bios lets you change your RAM speed settings, you can go to 1600mhz. i7s won't go any faster than 1600. And in reality, I'd be surprised if you saw a difference in performance between the two anyway. The hyperthreading might help a fraction with rendering, but that will be largely offset by the i5s OC ability.

AMD suck, don't even consider AMD anymore. What will you be using it for? Gaming? If so, save a few bucks and get an i5 2500K or 3750K if you want an Ivy. i5s OC better than the i7s. The only thing an i7 has is hyperthreading and that's more a hindrance than benefit for gaming. For a gorilla I'd do this: i5 2500K - $229 Asus P8Z77-V - $205 Samsung 830 128Gb SSD - $128 G Skill RAM - 8Gb - $58 XFX Radeon 6950HD 2Gb - $275 That's $895 going by Centrecom prices. How many watts is your current PSU?

Quick update, still totally in love with my new monitor. It's taken my Beef3 game to a whole new level I'll try and find some time tonight to investigate OC'ing it and report back with results.

Open IE >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Connections >> LAN Settings >> click Use a proxy server for your LAN >> paste the IP and port into the Proxy Server. Restart IE >> Try the website. FireFox and Chrome use the IE settings.

I can't see any reason it'll go belly up. I haven't found any online reviews which suggest they don't last. So far I'd highly recommend one to anyone thinking about it. The quality has impressed and surprised me. I'll be sure to report back should any issues arise.

So, here it is: Comes well packed. Everything is covered with that cling film. Once all unpacked and unwrapped it apparent that it's perfect. So far so good. Set up took a couple of minutes. I find it to be very stable. The base is one thing you read a lot of negative comments about, but it's proving to not be an issue. The picture is everything I expected; brilliant!: Next to my Benq 24": Overall I'm very impressed. Battlefield 3 looks amazing on it. I've got Crossfired 6850s and it runs on High with >60FPS on 2560x1440.

It's all coming together: Level 10 GTS and second 6850. The Level 10 is awesome.
