  1. It is now a circle - not a star Works the same, just takes some getting used to
  2. For the price, 100%
  3. Not quite correct... It'd be around 6500cc (maybe less, depends on model). VSB 14 Either way each state then carries it's own laws on the matter so it could be less again (or impossible). Vic being a VASS Engineers, I've spoke with some a few years back and i did ask a similar question. They said no way would they be letting an injected V8 pass in a lighter car than it came with, especially given kw increases... So as i said earlier it comes down to the state you live in, and knowing the laws and contacting the engineer first to find out what they will need before doing it. could even depend on the engineer you get and if they are willing or not!
  4. Waste of time, especially if they are R32/R33 N1 turbos - utter rubbish they are. People have tried before, and ended up regretting it. Have a search, you'll find the threads and then get to the end and say "I wouldn't do it again"
  5. Yeah more people need to make Hamiliton realise this i think.
  6. Still a couple niggling issues with regards to text colour (Christian is working on it). But at least you can all see it now
  7. Ill get there when i get there - busy with work and other stuff outside of SAU at the moment.
  8. Having swapped to Nismo front/rear before i sold my GTR - no word of a lie probably the best mods I did. The car handled so much better there is no scale of measure i could put to it thats how good the improvements were over stock/worn diffs as they lock perfectly.
  9. Yep that it would. Nismo front IIRC is $1500 (cant remember exactly, i broke my sump at the same time - which is what can happen if you break one)
  10. From the 3" outlet, flare straight to 3.5" Keep the gate ATMO, and no problems. If you plan to plumb then you'll need to think about 4"
  11. Exactly. It's always a risk even @ 14psi Pretty slim @ 14psi (most seem fine), but your gamble, no one else's
  12. I think the rule is along the lines of they are only allowed to move once to cover an attack, they cannot repeatadly attempt or something. It was raised in i think Shanghai or KL
  13. Exactly. Hamo's arrogance kicked in as usual - and Pasta did what he does best. Hamo was going to be overtaken anyway, he knew this - so just give up, take the loss of position and don't miss out on any points. His post-race kinda summed that up the way he avoided the question "i dont remember". cops arse he didn't. He remembered exactly and new he had a part to play regardless of who was "as fault" as determined by the stewards
  14. C said - Almost done guys.... I've been testing it for a couple months, there are a few problems with it that need fixing before its useable. I've noticed a few changes today whilst I've been browsing
  15. They won't fail with 18psi and a GT-RS (250rwkw). Everyone else around here runs them stock. By putting in a big 1.3mm all you've done is hurt the comp ratio which will affect response and require more boost for the same power
  16. Whichever the tuner is more comfortable with is the choice. No idea why you would put a 1.3mm gasket in that will drop the comp ratio for a GT-RS though, just hurts performance
  17. Next time it does it, you should shut down the car immediately upon noticing it
  18. Apparently Schui had his DRS open under a yellow Given Vettel was pinned... Could Schumi cop a slap?
  19. +1 - Plenty of action. Was great. All sorts of shit going down all through the race.
  20. hahahha what a great ending. Greedy Hamo is greedy, and now no points at all. Brilliant stay from Web's and Schui!
  21. You might be right over there, they have a system that is at least reasonable There is no off-shelf kit that I'm aware of, it'll be all custom fab work as there aren't that many LS1s in R31's to begin with, I recall seeing maybe 2 or 3 cars with one in them over the years and that's about it. This is probably as good as you'll get info wise: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/187852-r32-ls1-conversion/ This thread has no real useful information (but it's R31 with a LS1): http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/355725-ls1r31/
  22. It was done for space - That is apparently what has been said. Still my earlier comments stand RE: creating your own standard outside what the industry uses, so no real purpose
  23. What state are you in? I highly doubt you'll get a LS1 passed in Vic for instance.
