  1. Didn't read the thread i take it?
  2. Yep that's exactly what my Od's did - went flat 2-3 times and then were totally f**ked and wouldn't hold charger after that where a normal battery is fine...
  3. Was done about 3 years ago, previous owner. I know Paul's been following up pricing, he might know... And will see this no doubt, been talking about the Tarzan sensor recently as well haha
  4. People have PM'd asking so photo's of ZEIT rims to come early next week fitting to a R32 GTR (no tyres, but you'll get the idea). Other items still here - come and get em!
  5. All. I have for sale my spare RB26 as per below. Comes complete from sump to turbos which are HKS 2530s (pics included). I've had this motor for quite a while from a GTR I had imported a few years ago. I was planning on putting the motor into a side project, which has now been canned in favour of buying a house. Don't buy a stock motor for $3500-$4000 and then spend another $2500 upgrading turbos, Simply bolt this great condition motor in, wind up the boost and see a easy 360-400rwkw with the rare and much sought after HKS 2530s Details as follows: - Motor came out of a running '96 R33 GTR with ~120,000kms on the clock. Dyno'd up and drove fine with around 280rwkw on 12psi from memory. - Motor was comp tested immediately before taking it out for storage, results returned 155psi-160psi across all cylinders by Racepace Motorsport, well within factory tolerance. - HKS2530s & set of split dumps are on the motor. - Plenum has a new gasket/resealed as there was a slight leak. - Plenum & cam covers have been freshly crinkle coated. - Low KM R34 GTR stock injectors installed, freshly flow tested/cleaned. One of the stock R33 ones were leaking, so full set replaced. Price: $5500 compete Price for motor (minus turbos only): $3100 Happy to ship interstate at buyers expense. I will separate turbos/dumps & motor. PM for further pricing & discussion. Contact via PM. Thanks
  6. Didn't get a chance to raise that statement, had already questioned a number of others and brought up other points All of which were logical unfortunately. Next time i'll just yell and carry on, but make valid points - that'll get airtime cause retards @ home wont know the difference if there is a show on display
  7. Yeah that was a totally bullshit statement. I mean how can the Vic Gov't rake in over 500 Million in speeding fines per year if 99.9% of people are behaving? And those are the ones that get caught.
  8. My GTR had a full transfer case rebuild. Won't be installing the controller however (hence my comments). Car has a deposit so I'm not going to drive it again
  9. Looking at their ebay ad's. Their "GT35R" is not a real Garrett unit, it's a China copy. The ad really should make mention of the fact - but it doesn't. Why not just purchase from the trusted SAU Traders down in the For Sale area of the forum? Many businesses, all reputable, catering for anything really. There are items for people on strict budgets. There are those that want the best performance regardless of the money. Given you are looking at economy priced turbos, get something from Hypergear - not some old T04 piece of junk, you will regret it.
  10. I thought the ATTESA and ABS were connected in terms of wiring/input. If ABS then does take input from the G-Sensor - an uprated sensor could indeed improve ABS performance. If they are not connected/take inputs then obviously not possible. The above aside, you still get better gains from making modifications to the transfer case in regards to benefits/drive outta corners. Racepace say on a scale (of say 100%) - you get 30% gains from a electronic adjustments (controllers etc) and 70% from mechanical (actual transfer case). I can certainly say mine had a lot of drive out of corners compared to other 33's I've been in. I never got around to playing with the controller I have (never installed it). Would've been good if i did and see if the above statement was accurate.
  11. I'll try find out next week when I chat with owner, not 100% what specific model it was
  12. It works perfectly fine. Use better keywords, and make sure you set it to search Forced Induction. I use it 3-4 times a week, with simple words like "stock GTR cooler", you get plenty of relevant results.

  14. The cheap cool looking aftermarket option that might run into problems Or the proven one, that still remains cost effective to get polished (or just get a R34 one, they come silver...) Seen CoolingPro items max out at just over 300rwkw, so be careful what you decide. You only have 2 options really, and 400rwkw and budget do not ever go well together.
  15. So get it polished.
  16. Just buy another stock to replace it. They are perfectly fine for what you want.
  17. Pity they don't have GTX overlays @ the lower boost levels, and even a GT3076 for interests sake
  18. You can get a normal one with a decent CCA. They might not last as long as an Optima say (if they are not issue filled like my 2x Od were)... But when they are less than half the price type of thing... I'm sure you see where I'm going. Don't get me wrong, the higher end batteries can be good/decent and they do pack more punch in a smaller housing type thing... But you can get quite a sizable battery in the back. I'll be visiting mine tomorrow so i'll try get a photo to show ya.
  19. Haven't used one for long enough to really say (I've used one, but only for a few days)
  20. It's a low-def stream. There is nothing you can do to improve the quality of it.
  21. Yeah it's only a "guideline" in all the things I've seen, it's usually close, but by no means 100% accurate. Just did a squirrel mod to mine and took it from 17psi to 24psi no problems, held perfectly - long as you get it as close to target boost as possible to eliminate gate creep you'll be fine
  22. Turbosmart gates have always been like that. I remember my 45mm Progate from 6-7 years ago was sitting on 14psi with 18psi of spring (big/small) in it. Just have to trial and error on most setups
  23. I wouldn't go near an Odyssey again if someone gave it to me for free. Had bad experiences with 2 of them now, where a regular type of $80 battery works fine.
  24. Im back, will start going through stuff over the next week and work things out
