  1. They won't do it. It's the same reason Shell won't do it. I ask their Marketing Exec's that i catch up with each year (sometimes twice a year), the same response always comes back: We will not go E85 because of Ethanol Supply in Australia is controlled by 1 or 2 suppliers. When the QLD floods hit, it was down to a sole provider who had total control over the Ethanol supply price (a Monopoly). So Shell & others don't want to go down that route because they loose control of their business. Also consider the fact that their V-Power Racing 100 Octane accounted for less than 1% of their sales in Australia. Then the refit costs of each Servo to be able to accommodate E85... It's just bad business. It comes back to pure marketing and financials. It won't happen regardless of how many emails you send them unfortunately.
  2. Nothing at the moment We will go through designs when i get back from Holidays (I'm O/S as of mid next week for a fortnight). So will leave this thread open. Even thinking of t-shirt designs maybe chucking catchy slogans onto them like "Street, Strip or Circuit - SkylinesAustralia.com" So have a crack at those as well if you are bored.
  3. oh the lulz. I still laugh when I think about the ironing of the situation. Hopefully staying on the black stuff for a change If I wasn't leaving for Thailand next Thurs I'd be up @ Snowy River, going to be a cracking event.

  5. ^ same thing i was thinking. Either way it won't be the stock reg causing a problem unless it's stuffed as they will hold a lot more with correctly sized injectors... It can be checked in a few seconds with a pressure gauge (assuming they have done that already given how easy it is).

  7. Huh? BP Ultimate has no ethanol in it. Nor does Caltex 98 (Vortex 98).
  8. Battle.net 2.0 has been having intermitted issues like that for AUS people since SC2 came out on it in 2010 Sometimes it's totally fine, other days it's just plain terrible - and it's not just the odd day either. Gotta laugh @ all the Blizzard deep-throaters on their forums. Always cracks me up, I regularly post feedback only for these idiot monkeys to come in and tell me I'm wrong when i've done full calculations on things (like matching system, users etc).
  9. Sorry I should clarify - no additional drain @ rear of the head. Factory drains on the cam covers --> catch cans of course. Return to sump or not, plenty of different setups around. Some users on here have the additional rear drain, restrictors (unsure what size), catch cans and STILL have motors breathing heavily. So something is certainly up when others don't need any additional rear drains to keep things under control. +1
  10. You'll pick-up usually 200rpm at least from most results I've seen? And 200rpm is better than nothing. But... My entire point is based around the fact that once the issues are sorted, he will have 20psi a lot sooner than 5000rpm like it does now, it'll be at least 500rpm if not more.
  11. That'll be more driver related than anything as Blizzard games are generally not well refined in the code department for the level of detail you get. SC2 was exactly like that. You'll probably find it's more server related than the game itself
  12. Built right you shouldn't need an external drain. I cannot think of one GTR that see's circuit work down here running one - and that's from all workshops.
  13. Given it looks like it's hitting 23psi now, probably not much more, maybe 15rwkw at the most really. Same as everyone else However the real gains you are yet to realise all lie smack in the 4000-6000rpm range, you need to sort the issue(s) out. You are easily missing 40rwkw in that region due to your breakdown issues which in turn is hurting your boost curve massively and so on. It's all domino's when it comes to spark/ignition. Once it goes, everything else is affected. Also, looking again @ the graph i highly doubt it was done in 5th. 8000rpm/5th is well over dyno dynamics speed limit/cut i would've thought.
  14. Can you confirm the part #? IIIRC R33 and R34 cranks are not identical. $800 is well priced *rubs chin*
  15. I just meant that once you fix your issue, you'll get a good 500rpm in response, the fact you did it in 5th - even more if you do it properly in 4th (assuming it's a 5-speed) It could even be a farked ECU, although not everyone has a spare of the same model to try out - just another thought given you swapped ECU's and the problem went away.
  16. Commmmooooonnnnnn... Bec said she was getting to em this week on Sat... Hopefully soooooooon!
  17. Imagine? Never. They have been cash gouging since they created WoW and saw the $$$ roll in. Hence SC2 was split into a 3-part money making machine for a game with nothing other than revised graphics, a few new units and some mechanic changes. SC2 overall failed though, they forgot about the community aspect. Dumbass Blizzard - now D3 will be the prize prawn for a while to come. I wonder what DLC they will come up with for it to rape people on.
  18. It should also be noticeably more responsive - 20psi @ 4700rpm on E85 is bad. So sort your issue and you'll come close to picking up 500rpm maybe more which is good If you swapped ECU then it's clearly in the setup/settings of said ECU as opposed to mechanical like packs/loom etc.
  19. You'd need to change everything - manifold, dump, lines, turbo, intake piping etc. You'd be better off with a R34 turbo, make 200rwkw, would be a good thing. Sell off the manifold/turbo/dump and you'd probably almost workout even, if not infront
  20. I don't know what's more ridiculous. Thinking about using a China GT35 or thinking about using stock injectors. Both are absurd.
  21. 3 pumps in 4 months and you think it's still the oil pump? You clearly have some other issue with parts or the build.
