  1. You simply don't need to. 280rwkw is plenty for most people on the street with occasional weekend and is within the limits of a stock motor and then other things like cooling system, brakes and servicing. You said yourself - you don't want to spend $10,000 - so unless you do want to spend 10k, then go with what is tried and proven time over to be cost effective & reliable.
  2. stock rb25 with a stock gearbox. put a 3076 on it, make 280rwkw, be happy and then spend 5k on suspension/brakes.
  3. Too many variables like the suburb, town, state you live in just for a start. End of the day it's illegal, it's only your decision if you want to run the risk or not.
  4. Forget the power. Learn to drive a car first.
  5. You can just buy "bomb wrap" now. Basically like a big piece of vinyl, just cut to suit and affix. Cheaper and easier. Will have you looking like a Honda in no time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-hellaflush-Honda-Japanese-Illest-Fatlace-Decal-Wrap-Fender-sticker-Bomb-/190680874171?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c65773cbb&vxp=mtr
  6. So is that excluding the front bar that clearly has a reasonable crack? Or the right hand side of the front bar that's also clearly taken some damage and isn't even affixed properly? Or even what looks like a hefty key scratch down the drivers door? What other body damage is there that cannot be seen from the pics?
  7. Ah now that is a good idea "I'm a wasteland whore, are you?"
  8. That's just the external wastegate fluttering, don't worry about it.
  9. Just get a drill out mate, space them so you can fit around 8 holes in if you want great sound.
  10. No cheater EVO, interesting
  11. Looks good. Boost takes a while to hit 20psi (from 18psi). Would add a bit more to the midrange if you get it holding better That said, should have gone a GT3076 if all you were going to run was 20psi. Cheaper and would have had the same result GTX = 24psi+ to make use of it.
  12. RE: E70 --> E85 It's simply seasonal. All fuel blends are seasonal, even PULP. Less ethanol in winter due to temperatures. Use a proper sensor with ECU and the ethanol content isn't an problem/issue. Ye as Jamie said... That's my whole point It is simply not economically viable from a business perspective. Whilst it was a good fuel, infact it was great - it simply didn't make them any money. I've been using United100 and it's quite good/consistent and i just adjust the tune to suit.
  13. If you wish to advertise, you are required to pay just like everyone else. Details can be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/
  14. I might have to borrow Mick's GTR for next DECA. Unfinished business Paul... Unfinished business.
  15. And look at that dark horse that goes by the name of the name of Mike Lowry... Well done dude, might impressing result given everytime i saw you, the tyres were being lit up heavy
  16. Look at that GTR domination with a working diff, and on street tyres against you cheating pre-warmed semi-comp users! GIDDY UP!!!! If only I didnt have that one WD, tie for first... FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
  17. A surge tank goes in the boot, or under the rear of a car... I am worried about where this is going...
  18. Yep I will have a look. Car is getting the clutch pickup looked at, otherwise I'd just go look now. Will report back on findings!
  19. The Transfer case & rear diff pumps are all in the same cradle so easier just to leave them there and remove the lines which is what happened to mine. I cant remember if the power feed for the A-LSD was disconnected. It's not throwing any failure lights, i know that much. I'll find out and report back next week.
  20. .82 in GTX on 2ltr I think laggier than 3800rpm, and need at least 24psi to see 300rwkw on a 4 banger
  21. If you plug the AFM in, and the car dies... And you take it out and it idles... Tried another AFM? Is the AFM throwing a fault code/sensor? Might be a VAC leak but it'd have to be a rather large one. Sure you've sealed the plenum correctly?
  22. Simply looking @ the For Sale section will give you a pretty good idea of what something is worth.
  23. BP won't care unless you give them 500,000 people. 1,000 people isn't even 0.0001% of their sales.
  24. ^ Yep. Because GTRs are not 4WD. They are RWD until ATTESA decides otherwise - and even then, it does not become a 50/50 split like a 4WD car (EVO/STI). So most certainly not the same. Do some reading on ATTESA on this forum and become enlightened To the OP - N1 pumps, and any pump for that matter - can break @ 350rwkw if not treated correctly. There is no set "figure" or power range. It's like asking how many people does it take to eat an apple - the question has no valid answer. Closing as a result given such a question only ends in heresay.
