  1. You won't be able to run 275s & 295s and the tyre diameter will be almost certainly different - and thus make your ATTESA go nuts, throw fault codes and do all sorta of other strange shit (others have reported a surging feeling etc). You really need to run the same size & profile tyre for a GTR - So you won't have the same issue, you'll be creating a hell of a lot more. Use this for calcs, and you'll see you wont get the tyres the same diameter. http://www.miata.net...e/tirecalc.html Even with 10.5 and 19s - with a 265 it might not be so bad (you'll have stretched tyres, which IMO on a GTR looks shit). 19s and you'll need a higher ride height and/or tyres being stretched. or 18s and fit 285s without a problem on a 10.5 and have no real issues with scrubbing, you can have it lower as well - they won't be 19s. So you'll have to decide what you want really.
  2. 11" on 19s... You are going to have major issuse with scrubbing of the inner guard and overall fitment more than anything else. Only way to really avoid it will be to have it sitting like a 4WD. With 18x10.5 +15 and 285 tyres, R34's will scrub inner guards with almost every rim and only using about 3/4 the turning circle. Put another 0.5" on there and it's a dead set certainty
  3. 615k? First person I've heard using them if so
  4. Closed/Edited. If you wish to trade & drum up business, as that is effectively what you are doing here... Then you are required to become a paying Trader like all other businesses here on SAU. Details can be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/
  5. Closed. Read the GB rules thread.
  6. Yet... That might change in the coming years. I think it'll be interesting to see how this years cars go with some of the more "out there" stuff in the builds. I LOL'd
  7. This man. He knows.
  8. Come on man, enough with the threads... 3 threads basically around the same topic: This is why you are asking, and we've all tried to help you out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/403527-how-do-you-adjust-camber/
  9. ^ exactly. Always two sides to a story. Follow the above, he is a reputable member in my eyes.
  10. What semi's are you using?
  11. I've got an entire back up server
  12. If i remember Russ, I'll ask Collins how much wiring he got out of that fire engine gts-t mentioned earlier. I saw half way pics and a fair bit of crap had come out of it, be interesting to know just how much the end result of a strip/re-wire was
  13. Tis been 3 days Should be on the dyno ye?
  14. The sound is just awesome Ben, LOOOOVE it! That gear change to 4th was absolute lightning fast as well.
  15. Sorry for the delay, haven't been down to the car in a few weeks (I doesn't live where i live) I'll have pictures for you one day next week, will get it on the hoist before the buyer comes and gives me the cashola for it and i never drive it again
  16. Well you wouldn't get Nissan to rebuild it... So unless they did it under warranty you'd be up for another one. If the oil doesn't show anything up - perhaps go talk to Nissan and explain you've hardly used it and see what they say. If nothing good comes of the conversation time to get a professional (or two) to inspect it and maybe report back, could well be a transit issue as stated.
  17. ok keep it to your other thread, they are basically the same thing
  18. The white GTR above is owned by a guy named Steve. I forget his user ID. Look like XD9s - but also you can clearly see he has a wider tyre, compared to you. This also has an affect on how things will sit/look, as i said in your other thread ^ Totally agree, this is what i think is going on here more than anything else.
  19. You mean a stock bottom end People have run 400rwkw+ through them mate, it's all a question of how long they last. Which is what we've been telling you in reply to a lot of your posts lately, seems to be missing in translation though
  20. 280km/h roughly based on what the big power cars were doing at Temora1000 last year (they were just over 300km/h if my memory is correct). They will definitely be hauling ass and it'll make for some great footage for the DVD
  21. Well and truly into 4th dude! Some will be into 5th no problems in a lot of cases (provided they don't break haha). Should be interesting to see what sort of times some of the cars will do in straight lines over the 800m, reckon there could be a few surprises as well
  22. Yep... 800m runs, if possible 400m as well (just gotta sort it logistically). All fully timed... With a speed trap and a dirty big read out where the viewing area is so everyone can compare the size of their doddle in real time
  23. Wouldn't have been far off that Bob. Track day the entire Winton front carpark was full, so given 60 on the track, dozen support vehicles inside... Rough stab would say 160-170 on the Sat (was cool seeing 5 Bayside Blue 34GTR's all parked next to each other). The Show'n'Shine has 140 entered as there were 30 or so that turned up on the day, with another 20 or so on the street who's owners chose not to enter and 10 or so on trailers off to the side. Was a pretty good turnout overall. SAU Nats this year is also SAU's 10th B'day, so a few added surprises coming If you can go to both, do that. If not, up to you to decide! SAU Nats has 3 solid days of stuff to checkout. Thread is up in Nats section - 3 full days of action. Website undergoing minor improvements based on heaps of feedback and should be done in a few weeks. Entry should follow a fortnight after with a bit of luck.
  24. Oh must be the BW thread then... Some in the BW thread have GT compares as well on graphs. Cannot recall one person posting about a GTX4X frame haha.
  25. Mate of mine has actually has 2 SSDs in RAID0 I'll have to ask him how its going - will report back once i do
