  1. I'm all paid up - very strange paying for a game before you get it LOL... If it's anything like the other games though, i'll be stuck on it for years. Was the only reason i upgraded PC really
  2. Yeah use whatever diameter the outlet is from the BOV. Just use some rubber hose, run it along the bottom of the cooler (cable ties are fine). Connect to the stock recirc point - job done!
  3. Totally agree the R-Comp would still be miles better but they let me compete in street class in a few events and I was still faster than EVO's on R-comps I never got them to a slippery point - I mean the car was getting skaty, but it was doing that from the first lap. Great tyre - highly recommend springing the extra
  4. I'm lazy lol
  5. lol if you want I can - cost you a couple slabs on top (you'll also need a case)
  6. I'll clean this later today (when i get home from work). Everyone that has gone off-topic, be set for warnings and/or bans if applicable
  7. It's not just the treadwear indicator that you need to worry about in terms of grip. Sidewall also plays a massive part, hence the AD08s are as good as they are. I had RSR's, they'd done 3-4 track days before i sold them (and rims) to a mate, with a good 3,000kms on the street. Hardly any tread missing at all... As i said RSR's last fine. I got 10,000kms out of a 2nd hand set of AD08s and did a LOT of hill runs. Ontop of that did maybe 3-4 skidpan/motorkhana days, 4WD donuts on 3 occasions, 100+ launches - you name it I did it. All of this in the HMAS GTR which has many more KGs than lighter RWD brothers and you'd think would chew tyres even faster. End of the day if you are killing a set of tyres in 10 laps on a single circuit day, you need to learn how to drive and not lock up under brakes. You should get 6-10 track days out of a set + some road KM's without any drama in the world. For $400 in 17" - you are well into AD08 territory... They are miles better than a KU36 and a RSR - provided you have the suspension/grip to complement them and make them work for you as it's not just tyres that effect grip. Even stone cold i could tell the difference when i had AD08s on or RSRs They also work better at different pressures. I was down to around 30-32psi on AD08 for them to be at thier fastest. The car felt like it was quite loose (compared to 32-34psi i was using earlier), but the lap times were better (track battle @ thunderdome) so ye... I'd been pretty consistent over 2 days and only play with pressures in the last 2 sessions and then noticed the times dropping.
  8. Would it perhaps aid in keeping water & oil temps down? In a circuit application, say 5+ laps.
  9. How is a 2nd hand AFM - the same as a brand new one? Buying a 10yo+ AFM is no more purposeful than buying a ebay copy. Everyone knows the AFM's shit themselves, yes you can attempt repairs, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. So you spend $130 ($155 posted) on a repaired AFM, 6 months later it's dead. All of sudden you've spend $300 (to get another)... When you could've just spend $300 to begin with and it would be fine for the next 10 years. The poor man pays twice. You wouldn't use a 2nd hand fuel pump, AFM isn't much difference. Ask anyone that's had to diagnose a intermittent fault with an AFM. It's a ripe pain in the ass. For $150 difference it's just not worth the arse ache.

  11. Why ebay? There are over 20 Trusted SAU Traders that could source the product, for a decent price. Probably even have them in stock ready to go. Best thing is they are all Australian and you KNOW it will be legitimate.
  12. There is a difference. One is original. One is a flea-bay copy. You want an original - Google to find out why the copies are so bad if you want to know more.
  13. hehe I'm a bit behind on reading all threads at the moment. Too busy, so i tend to miss post replies where I usually see most even pre-edit
  14. I'll lose more space when i install things like 3D Mark, Excel/Word and probably Skyrim - It'll still be well under 100GB used though Just gotta try and keep it clean
  15. +1 Exactly what I was thinking... Cheap is not the best solution. Nismo intank or a Bosch Motorsport - either way looking at between $200-$400. For such a cheap part... Worth spending on something decent.
  16. I don't have MS Orifice on my home PC. Got a work lappie & work PC that i can use that for... Although I might install word/excel only in the near future. My 64GB used consists of: Windows 7 64 Bit SP1 (fully updated now). Firefox & Chrome Browsers Starcraft 2 Battlefield 3 Nvidia GPU & ASUS sound card software Steam (no games yet) ASUS/Intel mobo suite/apps and full drivers etc There is other miscellaneous shit like Fraps, Logitech mouse/keyboard software, uTorrent etc but it's all relatively tiny.
  17. Yeah I put it together myself the other day, took me maybe 60mins The issue is the air cooler didn't fit as I've gone into... Depends if you want to overclock or not. I'm not sold on what action I'm going to take (swap the ram or change cooler). I'll ponder it for a week or two longer. For the price - it's blisteringly fast and great for gaming. Huge improvement over my 4yo setup... I'd also expect this setup to stand the test of time and go another 4 years without needing an upgrade other than changing video card every 18 months or so
  18. It was on the first page you silly n00b Jacob I'll sort my legendary out tonight. I know my bro has as well. Keen as FARK!
  19. GTR/GT-t = same last time i checked... Wonder how the GTR guys are getting 400rwkw+ through stock lines & E85 (with just a Nismo pump)
  20. Decent diff and wider tyres will certainly make a difference. You shouldn't be losing traction in 2nd at all. I could put around with 270rwkw without much trouble in RWD and using 255s and 2nd would put full power down.
  21. Hrm... I will get the H100 if anything as I've got a case that has dual fans for exhaust and also a good mount point for a dual radiator area. I'll do more researching. Time being though it's nice and zippy with the SSD and sits around 4ghz without much drama and heat

  23. Yeah the 3rd last is just the HICAS connectors being tucked up from what I could gather as well
