  3. Unless you have a tuner that has the HKS software - there is nothing you can do/tune or otherwise and you will need to replace it.

However that said a IPB developer is being employed by Christian to make/code the changes Nick & I are working on (they are huge) Slow going with the requirements so far as I've been too busy to compile a lot of it.   12. no it's not. You need to test @ turbo outlet, and plenum inlet This tests the entire system properly. Not having time is... well... not good enough

  14. Well think about it this way A OEM GTR intercooler would be fine for your set-up at the moment to put things into perspective. You still need to test the cooler pre/post and measure the pressure. If you only see 1-1.5psi drop then it's not the cooler giving you grief.

    I'd take a stab it'll just be the turbos themselves mate. you've gone to turbos with bigger wheels, and they are steel not ceramic rear. They do "whistle" a bit. If i didnt have the aids at the moment i'd tell you to come around and i'd tell you in 30 seconds lol. But im stuck in bed
  16. Aside from that they also have another purpose - to avoid compressor surge on light/low throttle. Compressor surge = bad. As it is stopping the whole building of boost in the first place when on throttle as the BOV's leak at idle and light throttle. Often people have noticed when changing to a 'hard pipe' kit, or taking the BOV's off and fitting larger turbos like 2530/-5s that they get comp surge uphill depending on throttle position. So there is very much a purpose other than emissions/reliability. Some users do have issues and have to return to the factory setup, some people dont. There are all sorts of factors from cams, piping choice & even exhaust flow etc.
  17. They only do if the gate is creeping/opening early. I used to experience it with my external as an example 7psi spring - 17psi bleed. Gate would "creep" open before 17psi. 15psi spring - 2psi bleed. Gate would remain shut until 17psi Sometimes internal gate setups suffer this also as the gate is much smaller (eg ext 45mm, int 25mm). But it varies and is influenced by quite a few things including dump pipe, exhaust restriction, lengths of vac hose/where you are referencing boost etc.
  18. I've never seen more than 30-35 on mine. Only time i do is it i tap the limiter or something which obviously upsets things. Otherwise i'd be around 20-30 just putting around. 40-60 would mean a wayward cell or two somewhere. Nothing major and not going to break stuff instantly but attention is required.
  19. I read the title and i thought we'd actually be talking about a "BIG" 500rwkw set-up. Not a set-up that a stock GTR could do with ease. Sorry dude but ffs - go back to ALL your past threads where countless numbers of us have tried to give you advice now. Yet you've not done one thing anyone has asked. Once again you are just talking about spending $1800 without even testing anything. The reason you are not making power we've all been telling for you 12, maybe 18 months now - you don't even know what is wrong Exactly. Once again there has been no problem solving even attempted. No data attained in over 12 months of "issues" with this set-up.
  20. T04E turbo in a T3 flange Certainly not a T04Z lol They also had a different aircon setup and a few other minor differences like the intercooler and so on. 800 were made, for GRP A purposes. Also had a rubber front lip, not plastic/fglass
  21. Now believe it or not - The car hasn't even had a cut'n'polish yet. The paintjob is directly off the gun at this stage Few minor things to be done like add the sticker kit on, fix the overflow, front lip wasn't on the car etc. Thanks for the feedback so far guys though either way. I'll be making sure the guys doing the filming see this as this was the point. Try a few things, get some feedback and so on. You'll notice slight differences with each video (5 they are upto now). It's all being taken as constructive so no dramas there Feel free to embed it on other sites if you wish as well. No issue with that as long as it links to the original.
  22. Prices updated on a few items (guard, bonnet etc) Some are now $100-$150 cheaper than anyone else currently selling Get a bargin while you can! Prices wont go any lower on some items.
