  1. You do it via Autosalon - not the club Thats if they have organised a deal with the F1 Committee organisers etc to actually have a car display. So you cant tell them - they tell you
  2. I live in apartments. The amount of space i have to work in, is basically the size of a GTR. It just fits in the carpark dimensions as it is. So clearly not going to happen. The labour for all of mine was around $300 - so the fact it would have literally taken me ALL day to do it in such a confined space, that's just how it goes for me. I've done my own services in the past etc, but sometimes it's just not feasible as time is money.
  3. 500-550cc injectors will not allow -5s to perform to their full potential power wise as they will not slow enough. 700 are needed at a min, which is the next "size" up in the jap brands IIRC as there is a gap between 550 and 700 where nothing fits
  4. See Snowman was running a 96mm Trust core. He swapped back to stock item - didnt lose one iota of power or response on -5s Swapping was to remove the airflow restriction the larger cooler was creating on the radiator etc.

There is plenty of good info, experiences and so on to learn from. End of the day, an officer can report you even with a stock exhaust. So welcome to the club of EPA notices, most people get at least one in their lifetime.

  8. well given the two cars do have some different items... vcam, piping, snorkel... but are pretty much the same output... its a good representation. also the airbox vs pod, maybe but how do you test that on a dyno with excessive heat soak that the airbox will not suffer from in bonnet down test over time. pod will always suffer

  11. How do you figure that? You can't even see where the Z32 line goes Clearly factory RB26 runs out sooner than both Z32/Nismo, but everyone already knows stock GTR AFM's run outta resolution around 300rwkw and Z32's can do more.

Can't say without question but then who can say they've tested every off-shelf airbox on the market? Tangomatt - Using the Nismo intake kit going by the pictures (piping included).   17. Like i said - Freedom of Information. There is a set process you need to follow, look it up. You can't just call and say you want to know. It needs to be formalised etc.
  18. My local guy is $50 according to my last bill I take everything i need for service/want changed. Pick it up the same day. Works out well. Guy works with a lot of race teams and is in Europe a lot, was @ bathurst 12hr for instance Good that I've finally found someone that i can trust locally AND clearly knows what he is talking about Obviously still get Chris to do the major stuff. But general service type of thing, cant go wrong and it saves me 1.5hrs on trains + the drive there/back etc over 2 days.

  22. Nominations closed. At this stage it would appear we have no VP. This will have to carry over to next General Meeting at this stage. 270 members , and all we can get it 3 people to put their hand up for Exec roles (exluding others that have expressed interest of course)... Honestly that is rather poor form.
  23. 20-21psi is indeed just cruising and 17psi/410rwkw is not realistic Also DE cams and a 3" exhaust? Two notable problems on top of the others you have...
