  1. lol @ wanting a "carbon" one for under $300 It wont be proper carbon. Anyway, closed. Used the WTB section.
  2. realistically, probably not. Clean, full house build GTR's are selling in the 28-34k region lately. For a stocker you're gonna struggle even for a '98 You might get the price, but you'll have to wait for it most likely... So it's the old argument of selling now for 2-3k less, or dealing with 6 months of muppets.
  3. lol @ where this thread ended up. Now i realise this is an older saying that a lot of you younger peoples might not be aware of... Hook, line & sinker
  4. +1 It's quite simple. AVO housing is not Garrett housing. There have been a number of results posted over the years that clearly show that butchered/Non-Garrett housings simply DO NOT WORK regardless of the claims. By all means go and buy a rear housing that is too restrictive & have plenty of issues with it. All the while wondering why it wont perform. You came here asking for advice, you were given it. If you don't think it's accurate and want believe the people trying to make a profit, then go for it. No one here is going to be wasting their money - only you.
  5. Mass threads merged - read forum rules before posting single item threads.
  6. Its realistically worth maybe 450-500, i think its a "5" The number differs depending on if you look @ HKS USA or HKS JPN
  7. There are always plenty of people with video/camera's. Bring whatever you want. If you want GOOD positioning around the back track etc, then volunteering gives you the perfect chance to get out the back where people normally are not allowed etc whilst events are on
  8. Half of those listed are not really suited to drag at all. More so corners rather than drag. You want something like MT ET Street radials - a proper DRAG purpose tyre that is legal on the street.
  9. 4000's aren't two piece rotors. 5000's are.
  10. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  11. It does look pretty niiice
  12. Yes, they are slightly bigger... depends how fat your fingers are? Running 17s? If so you should be fine. Other thing - are the rotors the same size? IMO it's a pointless upgrade. It's been a topic argued to death of late so there are plenty of posts to read on it. Just get some 2-piece items for your Sumi's or do a full upgrade.
  13. You might have to test a factory new Nissan pump mate I hear they flow almost as much as the Nismo item. What's on paper is not correct in terms of their specs. Proof of that was Snowman who ran what, 380rwkw on the factory pump for a while. But i agree, buy the Nismo item, it's massively cheaper so the best solution
  14. I think half the world already knows That said, i knew last week if we are playing 1-up lol
  15. Gotta get the rear panel off in a R33, but it doesnt take too long
  16. Well tell him to go and pay someone else to do the work. Obviously you are doing @ cheaper - gotta be harsh sometimes to people who don't think, you're doing him a favour as with a bigher turbo there is NO promise that TC will work correctly and not have an absolute fit 99% of the time as more power/less traction - and a bit of wheelspin will actually make it faster than TC totally shutting down the car
  17. Bit of overkill on the injectors, but any replacement pump is more than ample a stock nissan one would be fine also IF they were actually affordable
  18. Have a think how long that gasket has lasted.... 10-15years Stock would seem yo be find you'd think. Plenty of OEM Nissan Gaskets are just as good as pricey jap name stuff
  19. Its simple - put the car on a dyno. See what its doing, AFR's etc. Road tunes without proper equipment = fail.
  20. I believe it's ORC at a glance. It's either a twin or tripple - will get it off on Tues or Wed, it looks almost brand new as in hardly ANY dust/build up on the backing plate. So i'll measure the plate thickness etc and i'll update first post when i do with price according to condition.
  21. You need Nismo Coppermix clutch then... They are the business. Its about 5x easier than my OS twin to use.
