  1. It seems to have merged my post with his LOL I guess thats what i get for posting during the forum update
  2. Ok im using one of the New Skins - it makes the forum MUCH better guys. just give us some time to work through it all
  3. A normal GT3071 would be a massive improvement over a KKR560 Let alone a GTX
  4. Until they are converted. There is not a "set" time. There is 100,000's of PMs given my own inbox has over 5,000 The forum we were running, had PM's in the same datebase/area far as i know. The new forum/version had them stored in a different area/format. Thus each single one needs to be converted. It will be fixed in a day or so i believe going of Christians Twitter posts.
  5. WD-40 or just mildly heat them up can help also
  6. Come on mate - have you even bothered to read the thread? They will be fixed when the PM's are converted.
  7. I concur Noel, I have raised this in the Admin area. One thing to remember is that the forum is currently running off the default "skin". So there is room for changes/enhancements in many areas yet. There was notice given via Announcements, perhaps not everyone read it. Emailing everyone could potentially bring down the site (55,000+ emails), so we have to rely on that really. Overall, the stock/factory skin is bad. But this will be altered
  8. No. If you please read the update - it says we are in the conversion process. It will take a day or two, and you'll get all of your stuff back
  9. This is a raw install, we've not really worked out what will/wont stay. Trying to get it running first is the main issue
  10. ^ that is because you have not read the announcements http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum-14/announcement-23-sau-version-3-update-read-me/ Private Messages - These are disabled while a conversion script runs to convert them to the new 'conversations' system utilised by Invision 3. Can you please ensure you do so, before posting in this thread.
  11. I guess even if it took 22 pages... You've seen what everyone's been saying since the start You will have heaps more to gain just from driving it for 1-2 seasons.
  12. ahh... no. If you go larger comp, it will take longer. Simple as that. IMO with a T4 1.00 housing, with a large front side - it'll be laggy as all shit, especially on a 2.5ltr. Poor choice/combo. But then you've gone the cheap option a few times now ... Buy a decent turbo once and be done with it!
  13. My gut feeling - they will. They did the GTX4X last year, and now the 3X frame It'll just take a while to filter. Cant mass release a heaps of products @ once due to manufacturing and also the illusion of "progression" over 3-6 years when you had the design 18months in
  14. Why would you use a twin scroll turbine housing without a twin scroll manifold? Talk about pointless...
  15. Same as the bloke who asked a similar question not 2 days ago: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...ss-t346302.html You NEED to read the thread that FULLY goes into detail about these turbos. This has been covered so many times that it's getting quite tedious. No TT combo is going to be as responsive as a single GT-RS on a RB25. You are talking 250-260rwkw of turbo vs 300-340rwkw, its simple impossible. If you want outright response on a 2.6ltr "-5s" are a stupid recommendation. You want -9s (GT-SS). They are the most responsive you can get other than stock turbo's. They start building boost hard from 3300rpm give/take.
  16. Hater? Realist mate. I ain't going to tell you that it'll make 350rwkw+ if it simply won't. As you said you don't wanna touch the turbo again, you'll wanna work out now if you want 350rwkw+ or not, thats the point you kinda missed.
  17. We are, and the OP is talking about a daily driver with basic mods. Hence the ECU he's asking about realistically isnt the best choice.
  18. What you need is the correct housing for the turbo. Without knowing what rear wheel is on it, its not going to be an easy task. Either way its an old donkey tech turbo to begin with by the sound of it
  19. a 3076 will never crack 350+
  20. +1 once again again proving race car examples have little to no bearing on 99% of this forum. long lists of features are wants, not a need.
  21. You might be able to join us in Melb next year... There is something very very big brewing at present between SAU-VIC/SA/NSW. Will pay to be a members thats for sure...
  22. how can a belt tick? anyway, that's a leaking exhaust manifold gasket due and most likely broken exhaust manifold studs. common problem after 10yrs. it gets worse over time until it basically sounds like a tractor and the car will barely run.
