  1. Pete, I heard you've made up a story to pike because you were afraid to go head to head in the drinking?
  2. hahah +1, great feature!
  3. I'm sure you would both be very welcome, although it is too late to pre-enter. I guess you should bring a completed entry form and payment on the day, look out for Eric, Dave or Matt. Spectators are always fine
  4. There are helmets to borrow at the office....but they are pretty manky. Best to post up in this thread and find out who can bring a spare
  5. so, is it logged booked now? Ben, I guess Neil can confirm, but I think it is for anything and everything. But built to the current CAMS tarmac rally rules.
  6. we need pics before we can be sure....
  7. Are you running a PowerFC? If so it is detecting pinging and flashing the light as a warning. If you haven't moved the CAS, changed the boost or anything else it is most likely to be a dieing fuel pump, but get a mechanic to check it out. BTW no real danger running around at low revs/boost/load. Just don't give it some, pinging can literally kill a turbo motor in seconds.
  8. It is cool. Any event where a hammerhead silvia can run is cool
  9. Great to hear Mark....see you out there....
  10. Don't worry neil you can always steal the wets from the tow car. Mark, haven't you entered? With only 25-30 cars there will be plenty of track time for everyone
  11. you can't drink, you're pregnant! see y'all on saturday
  12. clubman is a race license....whatchya racing, where?
  13. really? I thought they used "spartan air"?
  14. Interesting, I thought they had removed the "option" rules when they went back to CAMS....bring the details on friday
  15. Yes they did And, it is just a poor choice of events for most entrants. Strange rules that don't work with any other events, very little lap time per $$$, and very expensive to get to the front of the field. Good luck to anyone who enters knowing what they are getting in for, they are providing a great spectacle for the crowd. But for mortals on a normal budget, why spend 10 year's racing budget on getting to the top 5? There are much better ways to get track time if you want more than 30 laps for your year's budget.
  16. The wetter it is, the more you learn
  17. still living afaik....it even did 2 laps of brad's track yesterday
  18. it lives! Brad....don't go 85kg for Neil, don't forget he has a weedy, girly body like yours, rather than the well rounded manly figures of people like Pete or myself
  19. lol I'm more surprised at how much does work than the few things that don't! hope those screens do go in this week, I don't need bugs in my teeth. It could do with a wheel align too Brad Put a lightweight in the driver's seat for the cornerweighting.
  20. 2 more entries for Neil and I coming through tonight. 2 drivers, 1 car, so seperate sessions thanks. BTW we are staying in the cabins at the track the night before - anyone else thinking about staying there should contact the office to organise.
  21. no, actually I didn't make it at all - I just saw you had posted it elsewhere. I was just surprised because it didn't work timewise. Those cars were already racing before the build date of the first aussie sold cars. It was also contrary to what another contact who was close to nissan at the time had told me. I reckon it would be damn hard to keep hold of all the details over time. Alan Heaphy last year was also either a little forgetful or chose to keep some things close....fair enough either way if you ask me!
  22. sorry didn't see you!
  23. I was very surprised by Fred's comment to you as the first race cars pre-dated the local cars by at least 12 months
  24. Neil's only 19.....it's just been a hard 19 years
