  1. sunroof? +1 the drains are easily blocked, I had this issue with my front sunroof and the passenger floor....but only when I parked nose down on a hill
  2. OMG, new post of the forums!
  3. forgive him father, he knows not what he says.
  4. I love you whiplash. if you ever need to offload a car for free just let me know. I will find space.
  5. haha as you get older you remember less! something more let field but car related next time to minimise the chance it has been memorised
  6. Off topic rubbish removed, and offenders warned. Any more off topic crap in this thread will lead to bannings
  7. lol i have r32 n1s turbos......i call that perfectly normal
  8. lol Webber fans. We have finally found people with a bigger excuse book than GTR drivers!
  9. yeah unfortunately the unis are not rebuildable, you need to cut it off and weld a new one on. I replaced mine with a rebuildable one so at least I can do it cheaply next time
  10. yes that will be fine - most people just change the fronts. The difference in piston size between the standard and brembo brakes is minimal and won't make a noticeable difference to bias. BTW the brembos are a poor value upgrade over the standard brakes - what do you use the car for, and is there a problem you are trying to fix?
  11. yeah the Just Jap guys have not left yet, give them a bell I'm sure they can bring another spare down.
  12. maybe Mark borke his collar bone just before the race and forgot to mention?
  13. wow....do you think they found a hack in the chasis somewhere?
  14. umm, without knowing genuine intention to use the car, it is hard to say. best of the best, I guess if budget was $40k+ I could come up with the best brakes and suspension I can think of. But perhaps the budget is less?
  15. no problems. your question time matched well with my drinking time actually I don't have much more to add....I think maybe some of the brands have same size end to end because some times it is a absolute pain to get the inner end in, other times it's not. lots of bashing involved. when they are tight, bash the arm in with a hammer until one end is close. then work with something thin (eg big screwdriver) up to something medium (eg 3/8 drive extension), up to the bolt to get the inner end located. bolt on loosely. then outer end, always seems to be easier. not much help really, just confirming some brands are really tight.
  16. ideally you would have an "L" and an "R". A goes on the outer end. the bolt is end specific too.
  17. good work webber....staying within 40sec of your teammate in the same car at your home race is stirring stuff. chin up.
  18. lol Terry I was actually wearing my prize tshirt today courtesty of nissan. Eric I have Grand Prix too...
  19. agreed.....but I would probably take the 33 gtr wheels if they fit under the guards. 17x9 is a good size for semi slicks, plenty of options between 235 and 255/17. and the factory rims are strong and light.
  20. its pretty sad really, but I no longer deal with powerplay. I have bought 4 cars through them over the years previously though, and Ali is the most honest and thorough mechanic I have ever dealt with. But these days too many people have paid but not received goods. Ask Christan that runs these forums about what happened when he left a car there to sell on consignment.
  21. umm yeah....not easy at all. I've done it 2 ways: 1. use an air chisel to bash them out. you put the chisel under the lip and bash them (move around the lip) until they come out. I guess that is what they mean by the "easy" method. Its not. especially if the bush cocks a little and jams on the way out. 2. cut the end off one end with a hacksaw, then press out. despite using an air tool for #1, I found #2 easier
  22. In, I can't think of a better way to spend my wedding anniversary (especially since Kel will be down doing Targa Tas)
  23. saturdays remind me of Wayne Prenter
  24. BTW have I mentioned Webber is a hack? beaten by 0.8sec in the same car.
