  1. actually....I think we just came across something cheaper (I have always bought nissan until now......4x= OUCH!) will try and confirm and post up details
  2. good thinking! gong to foam fill the tank?
  3. yeah....$100 for a exchange reco (I guess they must be same as rb30...nice and cheap). new bits that matter.
  4. gtr ones for sure.
  5. nsx is certainly mid engine not rear.
  6. we probably would if Ian would return Neil's call
  7. and I would most certainly spend my hard earned on them, they are an excellent setup for the price. I have them on my stagea, 350z and race car (when I am allowed to by rules) anyway, when I put the set from my race car onto the stagea I was replacing 32 gtr calipers. the 32 gtr caliper sat a mm or 2 closer to the wheel spokes than the ksports do so if that is where you are worried about you will be fine. they are smaller and squarer than the brembos. If you mean clearance to the inside of the rim, I can't answer that for sure, depends if you mean 330mm or 355mm rotors, but it will probably fit. I have fitted the 355mm set under 17" weds so pretty much any 18" wheel should be OK.
  8. that's exactly what we have in NSW to provide the sponsor offer details.
  9. can't see any issue with that as long as you buy it from the monopoly supplier at whatever price they deem fair
  10. pretty much any (every) workshop will either be able to machine them on site or will have a same day service that can do it. nothing wrong with machining discs as long as they are above their minimum, and I've never had a set go wrong. BTW I think you would be mad to buy new rotors for 700 when you can get braided lines, pads, rotors and 2 piece discs for 1300 more from ksport.
  11. I totally agree. Club sponsors <> forum traders and we should not give the impression they are. Nothing stopping people signing up to be both of course.
  12. and i dont even know what a rs feed is
  13. car looked very settled in the vids....what did you learn from the day?
  14. exact same way I killed my last motor
  15. yeah PFC does it for injectors at 100% as well, not sure of all the things that flash it though
  16. also consider the good electric rattle guns for light work.
  17. jesus....not words you see often on here....don't suppose you took progress pics too? that is one super complex shape
  18. or....if you have a power fc it flashes to indicate knock and a few other problems
  19. Have a read of schedule J of the CAMS manual first it will answer a lot. http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/10_gen_re...dule_J_Q210.pdf Once you are across that post up more questions and I'm sure we can help One thing I strongly recommend - don go with a cage that does not meet CAMS rules. Cages are difficult or impossible to change which means you would not be able to do cams events ever with that car.
  20. not that easy unfortunately, although we have done it on a race car. The hub needs to be modified to clear the brakes. The mounting points are wrong (too far in, too close together) so an adapter is needed You need to convert from normal handbrake to hydraulic. And once you are finished you will probably have way too much rear brake bias which means ABS will kick in earlier than now which means you will probably get less overall braking than when you had the standard fronts and rears! You can fix this with an proportioning valve in the line to the rear brakes or an adjustable pedal box. Assuming you are looking for a cheap way to upgrade the rears.....this aint it! Having said all that, the rear brakes are pretty good and almost every car I know for street/light and even medium track use runs standard or brembo (33/34 gtr) rears. If a little more bite is needed at the rearlike it was for me, just get a better pad.
  21. sorry i meant standard exhaust and intake ie not 3" or pod or etc. dead standard and tired about 130, 10psi boot 160
  22. not sure yet for me been working each weekend....hoping to make it down there to cheer on kel with my pom poms and mankini
  23. yeah 160ish was what I had with mine when it was stock (exhaust, intake, tune) apart from 10psi boost. sounds about right. generally it will turn up to 180-200 with a little bit of boost
  24. can't seeing it being an issue....just grab anyone who crashes out on day 1 or 2 and get their accom
  25. I have the same issue, only about 50%-70% of mails coming thru
