  4. HG's TD0620.5G is only $850, billet wheel and better performance. plus way better customer service.
  5. Ball bearing, bush bearing, or even latest CBB HG's doing, you can spend plenty of coins. No point spending 2G for $800 result.
  6. its funny that HG starts to make Greddy copies (already on their site) while Kando wants to sell high flows. Also want to add: HG's $1200 high flow is with a proper .82 turbine housing with a hard 18psi actuator, not those god knows what turbine housings. Since they are making some thing with the same housing, will be interesting to compare their results.
  7. Because they want to sell you one perhaps. HG build identical turbos for every one, the mixed results can only indicate some have better setup and tune. by following their feedbacks people don't initially getting what they want are getting around the target HP on the end. Also appears Stao is very skeptical about WA tuners. I've been following the HG thread for few years and got one my self doing 280rwkws with no problems. you can get responsive 250rwkws with their R34 high flowed turbo no worries.
  8. Actually apart from the SS stuff they build, they also got both td05 and td06 with billet wheels. Performance wise its hard to say as most of the HG stuff are resulted based on stock manifold and int gate, their recent external gated test appears to be impressive.
  9. Or a hypergear's high flow or a bolton option that makes around 280rwkws mark factory cams on stock manifold internally gated and looks standard. Aftermarket cams might be helping it pushing over 300.

  14. Stao, I've got your PU high flowed R34 turbo close to 2 years now. its still going strong, what would it cost to upgrade that to your SS2? and do you have any results from this turbocharger on stock exhaust manifold internally gated?

  16. That is Rb25det Neo motor with a OP6 turbine housing. There are plenty of people including my self using hypergear high flows making 250rwkws+ with pretty good response. lilcrash had some thing else on it but wasn't a high flow, plus he's had heaps of other problems.
  17. Need to wrap it up with heat wraps. Stainless steel will turn red and super hot.
  18. kando need aftermarket manifold, external gate, dump pipe and etc. For bolton turbos look into hypergear's turbo thread.
  19. Understand that, how ever hypergears turbos don't had issue running internal gate.
  20. Stao's already talked about it in earlier pages that the internal gate will never open to 90 degrees. so the gas can never hit a 90 degrees wall. What I can see he's done is by making a huge wastegate flapper it needed more room for it to open there for needed that extra round bit of space.

  22. Hypergear's ATR43G3 has both larger compressor wheel and turbine wheel compare to the Gt3076R. So technically that is some thing in between a 3076 and 3582. I believe a member here (silvers2?) "upgraded" to a 3076 and ended up making less power on more boost, get the externally gated G3 on a 6 boost with external gate and watch the power grow.
  23. That is because factory BOV is also a recirculation valve. So it won't let surge. The G3 is a huge turbo for surging, you might want to check for blocked cooler piping or cooler or if cam gear's out by few teeth.
  24. I guess the big idea is getting rid of the stock manifold.
