Then I'm not sure I understand the question? You just want to put a cooler in the boot?

No, the filter should be on the pressure side, before your expensive engine. So you'd plumb in a filter like this: Pressure out of oil pump--> remote mount oil filter--> oil cooler--> pressure into engine.

2006 V35 Knock Sensor Fault Code Problem

Well, that's the reason your pitstop message isn't going away. It has nothing to do with the obd port/reader/whatever. You need to go through the menus and reset the service reminders. I take it you don't have the English conversion?? -

2006 V35 Knock Sensor Fault Code Problem
PN-Mad replied to nobby's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Pitstop doesn't mean anything. It's just a resettable oil / filter / wheel kilometre counter. Doesn't mean there is an engine code. Knock sensor I wouldn't worry about it the car is driving fine. Check the wires to it are intact, have been cases of mice eating the wiring in there. Reset the fault code, and see if any check engine lights come on. -

FOR SALE It is a new year with new priorities, so with regret I’m putting my trackday car up for sale. Anyone around SAU NSW club track days will know the car, and know that it is both fast, and reliable. Im selling it complete as a whole unit, with many spares, and basically everything you need to take it to the track. Would suit someone wanting to get into club level motorsport and learn about driving on a track, without putting your expensive GTR/Euro/whatever in harms way. It is one of those cars that literally has too much to list, but I’ll give it a go. Rego till July Wakefield Pk 1:07 SMSP Sth 1:04 SMSP Nth 1:13 1/4 mile : 12.1@122mph 2.2 60ft Pic: A.Meier 1994 RPS13 1195kgs with 1/2 a tank S14 Motor S14 gearbox Makes 290rwkw on 18psi, pump 98. 270 16psi / 230ish 12psi Dyno sheets available Tuned by DVS Jez Power FC Z32 afm Alpha Omega/ Un1group cams Stock bottom end, with VCT still active GTX3071 (0.63) on a 6Boost manifold, Tial 44mm ext gate (plumb back or screamer) Lots of custom intake and exhaust pipe work Freedy intake plenum. It is serviced as a track car would be, very frequent oil and filters, incl gearbox and diff. I am happy to let prospective buyers look over the car, I can do a compression test with you, I’ll put the car up on stands so you can look under it, ask me whatever. What I won’t do is take it to some random workshop for a wannabe to tell me how shit the car is. I’ve done the work to the car to make it reliable and safe. I wouldn’t do 225km/h down SMSP to T1 in an unsafe car. PLEASE don’t text me / call me and ask what the lowest price is. I will just tell you more than the price below Price : $15,000 Call Alex Zero 43 One Zero 9 Zero 240 Or drop me a message here. Car located Northern suburbs of Sydney. I'll add some more pics when the weather fines up and I can get the car out.

Yeah, easier as a rwd. Good luck with it all. If you haven't at least tried crank/cam sensors, it's a whole heap easier and cheaper than a motor change! You can always keep em as spares if they don't fix it and you replace the motor.
-
Yes, same motor. But a couple of points, the 350z had a rev up motor and later a vq35hr in it, so you need the motor out of the first models. V35s only got the basic model of motor. If you car is AWD, you'll need to swap over the bits relevant. Not a simple job, but do able. I'd be very tempted to buy a whole set of crank angle, and the two cam angle sensors first however.

Always end up exhausted and sunburnt after a Putty cruise! Thanks to the organisers and execs for not only a great cruise, but also an amazing year of social and Motorsport events. You have all excelled in your roles.

I'll bumble along for a drive. Probably bring someone else's car to save my arse/back from 400+ kms in the 180.

Rolled it?

The What Do You Put In The Back Of Your Stagea Thread?

Yup, pretty much came to the same conclusion, after much tape measuring! -
Good job guys! And it's great to see the club points make a comeback. Good job Execs

So, had another trackday at SMSP. This time the north circuit. Had a great time with a group of mates. Car overall was pretty good, and drove home from the day. I still think the car had more in it than I could get out. I really was stuffing up turn 2-3. So. I think there was a second to find going another 20m deeper into t1 (which is scary as fk getting down to the 100m marker), and putting t2-3 and the last complex together. Couple of things to work on, car had a bit of a misfire when it gets hot. I think the intake temp is getting up late in the sessions. Second thing I need to start looking at coilovers as I think the teins have seen their day. Couple of vids to come
