  2. Stock temp switch for the fans is 100 degrees. Uprev can set the temp to whatever ou choose. Normally the fans won't switch on unless stuck in traffic, or idling for extended periods. Look and the connections first, they are plugged in at the back of the fan. You can test by applying 12 volts to the fan, if no good then get a new set from wreckers. But i agree, make sure no leaks, and correctly bled too.
  3. i think it was mainly for cold area, where before you got in, you could start the car, warm it and the interior up. It defaults to running for 10mins, and then turns off. you can turn it off too with the remote. Also works on hot days dont want Punks stealing your car!
  4. Yeah, I got one. They could have snipped the wires, hopefully not. Get down really low in the drivers footwell. There is a white switch there, flip it. First up press check. This will flick the car on for half a second and show you the temp inside the car. Make sure all doors and boot are closed. Next, press the start/stop once, it will show the screen, then press it again to start the car. No need to hold down, it will just start. The car will turn off the instant a Door or the boot is opened. Enjoy.
  5. Fark no! It's not reasonable. Contact gsl rallysport in the business section. The price should be better. Also will give better advice as to what suits you. It's not a hard job, if your semi handy and have some tools you should be able to knock it off in a morning.
  6. Exactly Nick, that's why I'm booked in for it. $30 to get on the track, with a coach is winning. It's a come and try day, not a full on track day because they are trying to encourage people to Motorsport, not running it for those already involved.

  10. Hi Lisa, Yes, your on to the right direction. Other thing to look for is any vacuum leaks, letting in air to the plenum. You're correct that it can be a pain, best not touch the plate itself, just spray around it. I have no idea if it actually affects anything, but I'm careful opening it this way and that. You'll see a build up of black gunk on the back side of the plate, which causes it to stick and not come back to idle after decelleration.   14. I did that, and got some barb fittings. However after a day on the dyno they started to leak. I tried some tape on them and subsequently did the thread some damage when trying to tighten. So at the moment I'm just running the external which I haven't had any issues with. I would like to sort it though incase stuck in really shitty traffic. Might have to try the barbs again, and seal it up with some gasket stuff. I dunno. It's pretty high pressure when your up it.

  20. As someone wise once said - if you can't afford two GTRs then you shouldn't buy one. If you want one - get a R33, and pick up a cheap daily to get you around for when you break it.
  21. The tacho is over ambitious too. Its about 400-500 rpm out by the redline. Again - ECU gets the clean feed of RPM.

  23. Good to knowthey are sorting it out. Hope it works out for you quickly and effectively. Frustrating when they just had to take 2.5 hrs to dump the rom, send it off to uprev, and in about 3-5 days you'd have it back cracked and coded.
