  1. lol, come on Jeff, you can end up sideways in anything if you fluff it up mate We did last year's Tassie Tarmac Challenge (Rally Burnie) with it all off in some real grotty conditions and only took it off road twice
  2. This is a fairly common trait in newer vehicles equiped with stability control (and importantly torque limiting protocols). Adding more power often leads to excessive interuptions, whether it be a tow vehicle or race car, and could possibly lead to a slower lap. My suggestion would be to switch it all off.
  3. Ahhh ok, I must have missed/forgotten that bit. I agree with you, but I still see many many that aren't completely welded.
  4. NAh man, it's not letting me copy/paste a Google Image pic in... thats all.
  5. Yeah, to me, (and off-topic sorry) the best ever is the '88 McLaren MP4/4. Last turbo, here with the Great Man at the wheel. http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/8608/19888ax2.jpg ** whats doing with the pics?
  6. I don't think any of them have looked Hawt since they starting pointing the noses up, so whats that, 1992 or so? lol
  7. Yeah, not much room for error. Not too many guys have a moment and drive the thing away
  8. Risking, do you drop the main hoop through the floor to weld the top or do you leave it un-welded like I know dozens of others do?
  9. Whats the secret diff? I gotta know! lol And Benny, did you get that Cobra Evolution winged seat off Ebay for 450, that was a bargain!
  10. LOL, join that club, I was home resting up for a big assault on the trees at work with a chainsaw The WRC looks the goods, stupid greenies rolling rocks onto the stages though. I'm glad I'm not competing in the Dutton Rally and having to attack the special stage blind. Anyone without notes will slow uber slow imo....
  11. Yeah, Brown/Locker ran the most competetive one, but Appo and I smashed it in a literally bog stock bug-eyed STi (14th outright). Now, these VeeDubs Snowy...... can you stroke them?

lol, I realised you were just havin a jibe Roy, I think GTi when I hear the name too Heck, I bought a NEW 1990 GTi and went to town on it, ten gearboxes later I realised something a little stronger in the driveline department was the go, so, GTR it was. haha
  13. The V16 BRM is glorious. One of my favourites, Group B AudiSport Quattro; Group B Quattro
  14. It ummmmm,.... yeah well it ahhhh, well, ummmmmm......... MUMMY!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  15. Sounds cool Fatz, let us know what you think. Savman, I only rev the thing to 7 or so, it's not that short, well, it probably is compared to the whales you're used to
  16. Hi Paul, I have no agenda nor do I know anyone affilated with said DVD production. My comment is merely my opinion of this genre of DVD. It is also my opinion that this type of production subtley influences the way some people who watch these DVD's and drive imports act on our roads, and behave in general. It's been a recurring theme over the last several years, guy watches someone do 200m powerskid on a runway in GTR on private track, same guy goes outside and tries to replicate same on the public road. So, is essence, I'm not attacking anyone, merely stating my belief. Now, I know we all aren't farking tools that suffer monkey see monkey do syndrome, but alot of "us" are.
  17. Yeah MC is comin back to me on a Johnny Cash $ for the pogo springs, 3 sets
  18. Sure is mate, it's about 3.5k, but great quality video, 2 pencil cameras, and can also plug into OBD port for dash data Not cheap, but shit hot
  19. Not the 33...... not a Radical....... definately NOT S13 lol Roy, if you want the 33 so bad just come up and collect the thing!
  20. Here's a couple of vids from Lakeside last week. Specialised Driving Services kindly placed a new V Box Video in my car for a couple of session, I'm mighty impressed by it! Not cheap, but SDS is looking at putting on a rental fleet of these systems Could be the go I reckon
  21. 34 will be, 35 won't be, but there may be something way cooler than a rotten old 35.....
  22. Yeah I think one would be great iIF ECU mods were outlawed, but, with a few tweaks, turbo torque is the winner.
  23. Meh, just get a 135i and have a crack at Showroom Outright, not just Showroom 2WD.
  24. Us Queenslanders (Mark, Russ and myself) are planning on being there. I can't wait to smash some Vic arse with my underdone weak as piss RB20......
