This is a fairly common trait in newer vehicles equiped with stability control (and importantly torque limiting protocols). Adding more power often leads to excessive interuptions, whether it be a tow vehicle or race car, and could possibly lead to a slower lap. My suggestion would be to switch it all off.

Hi Paul, I have no agenda nor do I know anyone affilated with said DVD production. My comment is merely my opinion of this genre of DVD. It is also my opinion that this type of production subtley influences the way some people who watch these DVD's and drive imports act on our roads, and behave in general. It's been a recurring theme over the last several years, guy watches someone do 200m powerskid on a runway in GTR on private track, same guy goes outside and tries to replicate same on the public road. So, is essence, I'm not attacking anyone, merely stating my belief. Now, I know we all aren't farking tools that suffer monkey see monkey do syndrome, but alot of "us" are.
