  1. so im best to keep the vct and leave it how it is. If I go into the vipec and drive it around with vct turned off, its like driving a na rb25 with a gt40 on it, nothing under 5500rpm except about .4bar of boost haha

Im in a similar boat, ive got camtech 272s 9mm lift with after market valves/springs, I asked for the 272s to be drilled to suit vct, but im thinking about going down the route of ditching the vct and putting an adjustable intake cam gear on and putting some overlap on the cams and retuning to suit. any ideas from ppl with experience? I mean most setups around 500atw mark aren't using vct, so why should I?

I do 3500kms per week, I use one and cannot recommend them highly enough, yes they will go off at certain business/servos. yes the police with a handheld need to be locked onto your car for it 2 pickup laser alert, yes it will pickup highway patrol cars with there radar turned on before u see them and yes it will pickup flash for cashes parked on side of road. good luck with sale, good price
  4. my kando t67 is 2yr old running 22psi+ and around 487atw no problem whatsoever, and zebra just run speedflow 200 series as ur drain with the right adapters its around $100 for all the fittings and will last forever
  5. mainly top end, motor revs a little harder now, peak power was around 6400 now its 7200. turbo is more then likely too small for the cams tbh,
  6. camtech 272 9mm lift drop in, I asked for vct to be drilled into intake as I wanted to keep my vct and it worked out good. picked up 45hp same boost nothing else changed.
  7. look into a set of camtech cams, good gains. im making tad more power with less boost and smaller turbo
  8. must be doing something wrong with all 3, cause mines over 2yrs old on e85 22psi thrashed all the time at car events still good as day I bought it.
  9. it wouldn't hurt trying a decent 50mm bov setup with a 1bar spring, its what I run and works good
  10. this might sound dumb, but a person I knew killed 2 garrett gt3582rs awhile ago on his rb30, took him until the 3rd turbo to realise, he had plumbed up the water lines incorrect, instead of using the stock in/out on block he choose a different path and it wasn't a circulating path and there for killed them everytime.
  11. do you think u can upgrade my cast comp wheel in my kando t67-25g turbo stao and guarantee a better outcome then what it already is producing?
  12. with vct turned off its dog shit under 5k, with vct turned on its really good still, full noise around 4500rpm 3rd gear roll on from 40kmph up to 4000rpm I reach .4bar with vct off. 3rd gear roll on from 40kmph up to 4000rpm I reach 1bar with vct on. cant I post link to youtube vid on here?

  14. good result, so with the higher boost, ud imagine around 280rwkw mark with 118mph, what does the car weigh?
  15. shes got a bit of top end once u hook up, should go to the strip and trap some 140mph passes
  16. my manifold destroyed my exhaust wheel on gt35r, the turbo flange studs are all out of shape, spend extra go 6boost, dnt waste your time with this cheap junk

  18. 531hp.. Id love to do a back to back from standard kando t67 to hypergear billet wheel and re dyno and see the results.

All in all it was a fun weekend, got a good video racing a 32 with built 25 tuned by next up performance with a gtx35r/poncams on eflex he makes 531atw 23psi and down back straight we were both neck n neck hard into 4th haha. my kando turbo has been on for prob 18months and hasn't missed a beat. and shaft play etc still feels like when I bought it. old time was run with a gt3582r .82 on 22psi

I never got around to putting it on dyno my third gear is pretty much stuffed lol, crunches going in and down shifting, its horrible, only got 1 run at test n tune due to drag car flipping in the deep end, done an impressive 2.6 60ft and 3rd took 4 times to go in crunching haha, 13.0 at 122, guess i didn't beat my 12.3 at 120 from couple yrs ago grr, if i got 3rd it woulda gone 125 easy all in all, drove 1000kms, flog it all weekend, 8000rpm all day long in 35 degree temp, and got me home
  21. The .63 will flow over 350hp easy as, and a 14psi spring is fine for well over 500hp. What boost control u got?
