  1. Fellas Bit of an EOI Over east for foreseeable, GTR is sitting in the shed It has a well-documented track use life, however was given an engine out birthday just recently and hasn’t been tracked since as I have been east.. so if you wanted to tidy it up into a Streeter the engine hasn’t been tracked as yet. Motorsport Achievements This isnt a “yeah it will go 9’s or it will do a 60 at barbs car” it has done it at public, timed events. The niggles have been ironed out and its ready to go 9.6 @ 146mph as per attached time slip at kwinana motorplex on the this was at 775whp on the 6466 turbo 60.61 Waneroo long track @ Infinite Time Attack 21 November 2021 http://racing.natsoft.com.au/638957457/object_935327.81A/Times?1 1.16.8 @ collie long track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8UUloZS_dQ Consistent top 20 finisher at 2022 Targa Rally Sprint Series (Road 2/3/4) on AD08 tyres and first season of the driver competitor https://www.rallysprints.com.au/wp-content/uploads/STRS22_R3_Overall.pdf 286.24kph / 17.511seconds to do the standing 1km at Racwars Albany 2020 The car is setup to be at the pointy end of the field, and is a genuine no expense spared in the maintenance of it to keep it there. I have been interstate working since Q3 2022 so the car has not been tracked since and it just sits in the shed for the foreeseeable since its rebuild (front diff let go, so did bearings and an update while engine was out) and driven a total of 20km on the street since. With a little effort this can be taken from a capable track car to a well sorted street car new seats and tidy up the side skirt paint would keep it fresh or get out on the track and dominate. Bad points – paint has been sand blasted on the side skirts, as per pics Drivers seat has a slight tear in it few pics as it sits today $140k
  2. Insurance says you got 2 weeks to change it over
  3. I have not backed to backed the G35 900 housing but have on the 6466 - went from .84 to 1.15 did not loose any response and gained a touch more up top. I think E85 makes the old smaller rear housing argument redundant.
  4. Haha I am temporarily in QLD so to get it back on WA plates would be a nightmare it is at a stage of basically rally rego as its not like i drive it on the street that often unless going to an event or workshop or very rarely a early morning cruise. I am assuming the problem was with drifters chopping the joint up?
  5. Sunshine coast club looks ideal for the pending move also, where is Doonan racetrack it seems to be secret squirrels? is it someones private property? I have the awkward situation where my car is full rego in WA and it would never pass inspection in QLD, so will need to bring it over and trailer it everywhere. Doesn't look like any other options?
  6. So I have a 2.8 with a G35900 with 1.06 twin scroll rear I dont have vcam The dyno shows it laggier than it is on the street, it feels miles ahead of my 6466 . G35900 was making a bar of boost around 3750rpm based off the motec dash.
  7. 2.8 vcam and a G35 900 and you will have more response than you can poke a stick at
  8. Fantastic guys thanks for the response I am in Kangaroo Point atm, potentially moving up the coast towards noosa early next year so was trying to absorb as much knowledge as possible on QLD motorsport so I can work out my options.
  9. Howdy, From WA where I had a good tune in on what events are on and where. Recently moved to QLD and have managed to find the following Skid Control events look well run and frequent Noosa hill climb Targa Great barrier reef Roll Racing Are there any smaller events, or smaller race tracks I am missing out on for grass roots motorsport in QLD? Either circuit racing or tarmac rally sprints or similar!
  10. possibly calculated incorrectly. by no means an expert hence asking
  11. No I am just wondering on how risky I am, I did a quick calc and believe i am sitting at around 2.3 pressure ratio so a bit of room up the sleeve.
  12. - Perth WA is at sea level E85 2760cc 7700red line, however peak power is circ a7250 2bar Kelford 182-c - 272 cams 4" dump, 4" exhaust, 100 cell cat air filter is a pod on a intake tube like the below
  13. anyone else had G35 900s or similar fail from running 2bar of boost?
  14. The amount of people that don’t maximise turbos and change them out I think rob is one of the best for extracting as much as is practical from a turbo
  15. 1.15 T4 divided 6466 Gen 2 vs G35 900 1.06 T4 Divided (6262 equivalent) THE SAME it builds identically and ends up =/- 2% max power We did play around with cam timing to bring it on earlier after this dyno graph and street logs have it around 1 bar at 3750 or so on the street in 4th gear vs 4200 for the 6466 but doesn't show any benefit on the dyno run. a cheeky little launch said it comes on earlier also Haven't tracked it yet, but am keen to do a rally sprint and see how it goes
  16. So essentially you have a 30 year old car, that has had all sorts running through the fuel tank and into the lines and filters E85 will clean the gunk off all those surfaces and send it straight to your injectors. So a E85 fuel pump, lines, fuel tank clean and ensuring your injectors are up to the task is essential for happy motoring on E85.
  17. Getrag gearbox was super annoying for circuit or drag racing a well built 5 speed dog or sequential 6 is the go
  18. I would skip the HKS fuel pump and go for an integrated system of pump, lines and injectors to switch over to E85 https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/collections/nissan-skyline-r32gt-r/products/fpg-new-nissan-skyline-r32-gt-r-bnr32-in-tank-surge-tank-kit-track-edition-te-fits-c34-stagea-v3-fpg-085 or aftermarket industries do great affordable products with the hardwork done
  19. may as well rip the band aid off and order a 3.2l stoker and 6870 with a holinger Car looks neats, good luck with it!
  20. This is just discouraging people from making excellent bad life choices
