  1. chuck a bigger rear housing on it as well and i feel you will gain more everywhere again particularly if on E85
  2. anyone got any results out of aus for the 6062?
  3. anyone found any 6062 results? having a poke around and they dont seem to exist from reliable resources in Australia. going to scale down from 6466 to 6062, also dropping cam size to pick up more downlow for rallysprint but just trying to make sure we are making the right move.
  4. #Baller
  5. I run quaife front, nismo 1.5 rear and it seems to be the winning combo I do circuit and rallysprint and the quaife was an issue with a wheel up drags i am sure it will be fine
  6. PM me and offer in CAD delivered to your door and I will say yes or no.
  7. I lost nothing going to a 1.15 and did just over 600kw on E85 so you should be fine I am actually moving to a smaller 6062 turbo shortly if you want to buy my 6466 with a .84 and 1.15 housing, it was rebuilt by precision in america in feb this year, been used about twice since. I am going smaller as i am doing more rallysprint style stuff these days, and can get alot more down low and 500kw from a 6062 which is what we need for rallysprint.
  8. I had a similar issue with my power steering and it came down to the incorrect dash fitted, it has a speed sensor which talks to the power steering to load up pressure at low speed for parking and the like.
  9. I am pretty sure it is on the road, just the forum has fizzed out
  10. good to see some results from the new G series turbos getting on the board. Still getrag or gone sequential?
  11. i feel they may have done a sneaky update, alot easier to get around tracks now a few people saying its still shit
  12. They seemed all the rage for about 20minutes but havent seen anyone actually using one
  13. how are you guys finding the RWD and even AWD physics seems to be GT7 guys loved FWD cars as they handle mint
  14. What garret did you go, and is it comparable to the 6466 for power and response? Any back to back dyno?
  15. few videos from a few recent track days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Pmf4bqU8ZM&t=68s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8UUloZS_dQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o754hnLZV_k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w4bUFzz4Uo
  16. I use mine all the time, I have 4 track days in the next month and will do the very rare maybe once a month lap down the coast.
  17. Have been following this the last few weeks and held off, however my take on it all Ø The people who bought an R32 GTR for $20k now do not want to modify it or track it as it is now a $80k car.. therefore it is too valuable to someone on a $20k budget to go and bin at the track or blow up on the dyno. Same thing happened in the Porsche market in the early 2000s, once the cars move onto the next owners you will start to see more at the race track and being modified again, just as we are seeing Porsches at track days agains. Someone wanted a Porsche to go lap around the track, had the cash so went and did it as opposed to being worried about an off or a repair bill. It is the perception of value to the current owners. Ø The younger crowd aren’t into the jappers anymore, I drive past a house in south perth regularly that usually has a rolls Royce out front, there are 2 P platers cars regularly infront also, a brand new kitted out hilux and a brand new kitted out ranger. Back in the day a similar P plater would have had a bombed supra, GTR or WRX etc. trends have moved on. Fast and the furious isn’t cool anymore. Ø And as Tobz touched on above, it is so easy to get power out of the Euro stuff and still enjoy the creature comforts. I know two people with Audi RS3s with similar power to the GTR high 9 / low 10 ¼ mile mark, and they daily the RS3 whereas the GTR is an occasional car due to the fact it has no AC, is a rough ride, harnesses, half cage etc. . . . why drop 150k on an occasional car when for the same cash you can have a low 10sec daily with all the comforts and fly under the radar or cops, thieves and general hooligans for 80k. There are better options nowadays. Like it or lump it the scene and the people have moved on.
  18. wow wish i knew that 6 months ago, but i did just randomly find a R32 Cable and release. it was the fuel release piece that broke
  19. bump Anyone got one of these floating around?
  20. a lot of precision hate, have been running over 700hp for 5 years, last year or so over 800 🤞
  21. going from a HKS cooler to a plasmaman i went from an average of high 40/low 50 degree IAT to low 30 IAT. This is all after several laps around a circuit. I also found less fluctuation the HKS cooler would spike harder quicker where as the plasmaman takes longer from the IAT to increase.
  22. you need new groups
  23. love the effort you put into that collector!
