  1. I'm betting it's something to do with the CAS.
  2. Whats an ETA on the finish date? Is it a stroked 26 or 25? I presume you mean a standard 25 manifold. After seeing all the RB2530 results with GT35's it has me a little nervous the old GT30 will be struggling up top.
  3. As for a power figure, when running 20+ psi and maxxed out i would ideally like it to make around 400kw. But as the car will be used primarily for drifting when i drop it to the tuner (probably JEM or DVS Jez) i am just going to tell them to make it as safe as possible and i don't care how much power (within reason) has to be sacrificed. I think it should make 300kw on an ultra safe tune. Is all this possible with a Hypergear SS2?
  4. What are people's thoughts on my running a GT30 with a .82 rear on the 30 block. Have only really seen cubes (i think that was his name) results with a GT30 frame turbo and not many others. Most people tend to go GT35 or larger, and the VL turbo boys go even more massive. Some food for thought, will be on a 6BOOST mani with 45mm Turbosmart gate to atmo, 3" straight through exhaust runing on E85 and want to limit RPM to about 7000 I should be getting some pretty decent area under the curve, but just worried about the possibility of the turbo choking the engine at higher RPM.
  5. Where would one buy an RFID cheap? This is a pretty cool idea tbh.
  6. I would remove that piece of cast iron, it's really quite heavy, and weight is the biggest killer of performance.
  7. I though (have done no research) that a ball bearing turbo would be more responsive than a journal turbo. Especially transient response. Guess I won't worry about it then
  8. Hey Stao, Whats the advantages of the new SS2 ball bearing version over the older journal bearing one? I bought mine mid last year and it is going onto my RB2530 so wondering if its worth getting you to upgrade it while its off.
  9. Would you be keen to make one for me mate? They look of great quality!
  10. Stock bore is 86mm but you will need more that a steel rule to be sure. A set of verniers is ideal. Or in inside micrometer.
  11. I think they are different, according to this post by simon they are anyway. EDIT: just checked and RB20DE/DET bore and stroke are the same, and i believe all RB headgaskets are 1.3mm, so that really only leaves the pistons to be different. Check on JE/CP etc website and have a look. I CBF doing that for you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/438851-rb20det-300kw-range/#entry7198368
  12. I will take the Idle air control valve if you will seperate mate.
  13. Was reading this thread many many moons ago and i remember a lot of talk about finding centre lock wheel nuts. Found this pic and although its probably not of any help you may find it interesting nonetheless.
  14. Anyone have more info about the wing on this thing? Never seen one like that before, cheers.
  15. RB specific clutch aligning tool. That would be amazing.
  16. ^ That is correct. No gaskets (between turbo housing and IWG/EWG adapter) on Hypergear turbos.
  17. Am I missing something? I count more than 5 bolts? >____>
  18. Just take pics and post them up here mate.
  19. Will this fit my R32 Gtst with R200 diff? Or will it require different axles?
