  1. How do you keep a water pump running that is driven by the engine? Unless you mean the engine is still on?? lol.. I thought turbos cool them selves off using "thermal siphoning"
  2. Your doors may have been replaced at some stage, therefore having a different barrel. As for the imobilisor, i would disconnect the battery for a while then try again
  3. Can the rear seat be put back in with this? I would assume no?
  4. Dont bother unless you want a massive project. For 6-7 grand he would prob just swap the engine....and keep the cash.. Either, Swap the engine. or Swap the car.

  9. Brendan you are correct. You CANNOT attend the "your car our track" You must not have a Cams license or ever had a cams license to attend those. It is for people to get into the sport.
  10. Anything 110 or under is usually fine. My Neo topped out around 108-109 after about 5 hard hard laps. That is Without a shroud, Stock clutch fan. I have wrapped all my intake/crossover pipe/intercooler piping in exhaust wrap, this was the best thing i did as i no longer get Heat soak.

  13. Only reason i would see the top hose not being accurate is when there is no water, apart from that, it should be ok. You are getting a reading of Water "IN", showing that your radiator is doing its job. Getting rid of the stock radiator was the best thing i did on my 34, its like 1cm thick :S and was not very good when thrashing the car.

  15. Over 120 = Ur prob boiling the water Over 110 = Not so good Under 110 = Ok Under 100 = Great Under 90 = Awesome, prob not pushing the car Under 80 = You just start the car? Under 70 = Dont push the car! My opinion

  17. Hey stao Did you have Vband external gates? or only bolt style? I was going to take my turbo off this weekend and send it back to you next week to change to ss2.
  18. Why u make so hard to choose! I may just need to go of the housing for now then if its to involved atm to get done on the Stock manifold. I personally want it because ill be keeping Low mount on my car and dont want the bling of top mount. Could the below be done if Gate on manifold is to hard. If i send the turbo to Stao to upgrade to SS2 and he can send to you, you can then put Gate on housing and weld internal. ( Stao can keep internal actuator as a present? ) On a crappy tight schedule aswell because of racewars But i do still have till about 30th March.
  19. If the ss2 is better sure, As for externally gating, that would be the new gate off the manifold you tested start of January yes? Would you need to put a different rear housing on the turbo? Or do u just weld internal shut? Also, i cant seem to find Scotty's details... i must be blind :S Is he over east?
  20. Hey Stao If i send you my stock manifold and my ATR43G2.5 could you do you custom external gate mod and make the rear housing external gate.? ( and update turbo revision if any better than mine ~ 1.5 years old )
