As Blind_elk stated have you got the fuel lines on the right way? CAS might be miss aligned or stuffed. It's sounds like fuel or timing to me.

If you have been cleaning your engine bay lately I would be checking the electrical conectors on the AFM, O2 sensor, CAS and ignitor for damp conections. Check for coil packs for earth leaks aswell, as the insulation on the coil packs becomes brittle from heat and breaks off causing stray discharge. MEGA

Check CV boots on the front for cracks, as well as the gearstick seal on the gearbox, also change front and rear diff and transfer/gearbox oil, as well engine oil, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs (platinum/iridiums) of course. If you see oil on the outside of the differential's check/clean the breather.

EDIT: Some of this may have been done if it has been complianced recently.

Find a copy of that manual for the R32 GTR that is floating around and diagnose the problem from there, as the HICAS light flashes a fault code.

Have you checked power steering fluid level? EDIT: Also the hicas system is voltage sensitive so maybe you might have bad earth or jumped the wrong wire, did you remove the steering wheel in the install?

Ambient sensor is at the front of the car on the factory thermo fan. As for not working. Done a FMIC lately?, and removed it maybe.

RB26 have it under the plenum, right behind where the lower radiator hose enters the block. use Chalk to highlight the numbers.

Great stuff Merli Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the G-force display at the bottom of the screen, with max G's at +7.9 forward G's and -10.3 side G's. Impressive stuff. He had no chance in regaining control with only one hand on the wheel. In an accident like that he is lucky he didn't get caught in the unused seat belts. Looks like a good excuse to get some bride's and 4 point harnesses and a cage! MEGA

Had the Silver Astra "444-EVR" follow me early tonight in gladstone CQ then it past me doing about 10ks over the limit then when it was about 20 meters ahead in another lane they slamed on the brakes for a second or two for nothing. I had seen enough... so I pulled into a backstreet, not that I was running from them, but more because I didn't feel safe knowing that I was the one they were trying to bait. I did get to see through the dark tinted windows and see some sort of radio/speed-tracking device mounted on the centre of the dash. (had a red LED readout that was bright enough to see at night even through the dark tint) Strange thing is if they had been following me a few minutes earier they would have seen some guy in a EA falcon take off from the lights and floor it until 100 ish then slam the brakes on hard in 60 zone. Then again they probably did see it, but figured that the skyline was a bigger fish to fry. And if this is the backup car some of the utes must be in town too..... Thanks for the heads up! MEGA

Don't try to fix the body, it will cost too much, better to get another body and rebirth it legaly. I think justjap have a dressed R32 GTR body for 12k but I don't know if you could register it though, depends on how they imported it, and compliance might be fun. So maybe a drag car? MEGA

I think they have double syncro's on 2nd, 3rd but only single syncro on 1st, 4th and 5th. That's the way it feels when you drive one. Edit: gearbox oil change will probably fix this! MEGA
