  1. You have a bit of room in the 32's, you could always get a claw tool, they are pretty good with a ratchet. But may anana try the old ways ie multigrips, screwdriver lol bit dodgy. And when you put an oil filter on its only meant to be done up with your hand anyway, as tight as you can.
  2. A Hr31 Black pillarless 4 door, with rb20 silvertop, exhuast, bov, lowered, heavy duty clutch, new tyres, just front end damage from running up the arse of someone (owner was not driving was his stupid mate) , manual 5 spd, umm if u want pics i can email them to you. Needs radiator, radiator support, bonnet, guard, headlight, few other bits n pieces, was a very good running car before acco. Already complianced and all that jazz. 4k ono
  3. ^^ ahaha i do the same thing, lol scares the shit out of a few people when ur driving past them. lol
  4. is it in the boot? ive just noticed my jack is rattling, was driving me nuts going wtf is that metallic rattling.
  5. itd make a good ashtray
  6. Wouldn't your car be blowing a f**kload of smoke if it was a blown turbo seal though?
  7. yeah small japanese hands which can bend in a 360 degree angle
  8. yeah band aid solutions are crap, because they could possibly cause more issues for you later. If you're going to do something might aswell do it properly
  9. the bulbs im assuming..... Behind the headlight there should be a few bits of wiring attached to plugs leading to the indicator, headlight, parker. just follow it and untwist the little knob thingo.
  10. holy crap, ur keen. Nice work though. Id like to do something like that but im waaaay too lazy, and well lacking the funds lol.
  11. The internal pressure of the motor. I personally wouldnt be putting in a whole litre of oil in extra, a whole litre of oil is alot, it may not look like alot but its a f**kload extra. Its never good to overfill, unless of course what was mentioned before about track days etc.
  12. I hope you cleaned off that fuel quick smart, eats the paint away something chronic If it is the filler neck, it could possibly be a clamp, or maybe a crack in the hose or seal.... lol sickaflex is awesome, its easy as to use, just make sure you arent wearing any good clothes, as it tends to go everywhere and be a bitch to get off. Caps would be sold at any auto parts place. repco, thomos, supercheap, autobahn etc etc
  13. Yeah id say lifters. My car does the exact same thing its like tick tick tick tick tick tick... in quick succession., i was a a bit worried when i first bought the car, but then figured out what it was. Nothing major. Just a quick question, how would an exhuast leak make a ticking noise evident from the engine bay?
  14. lol yeah i really am a girl and yeah with what mr kotter said i think from memory it could be around 50-60degrees, but check on that, beacuse i could be waay off
  15. I reckon ud get 15-20 kays out of a fuel light on, i THINK i did 20 odd kays in my sedan.
  16. You can reverse flush your cooling system, id be getting the radiator professionally done by the proper people as they have special equipment for all that which wont damage the radiator. Yes you can have a air pocket stuck in the cooling system, If any of the pipes are above the motor they can get an airpocket in them, you should gently push down on the pipe if its higher than the motor to make it level while the engine is running the pocket should bleed itself out with the radiator cap removed. Could also be a faulty thermostat, radiator pressure cap umm thats all i can think of at the moment, possible water pump??? i guess if its ceased.... not too sure on that one.
  17. I agree, its a bit dodgy, atleast you could possibly get a warranty on a new radiator.
  18. There should be 4 10mm nuts on the fan, remove them, and your fan should kinda slide off, but you will need a little manouvering to take it out from the shroud without demolishing your radiator. I did mine when i was installing cooler piping on my 32, its easy to do. Umm the radiator fan is a clutch type. If you want to change it so u can turn it on and off by a switch inside the car, youd have to replace it with electric fans i beleive. Unless someone knows otherwise? Oh and if its making a noise while accelerating other than the fact your fan is cracked, you should possibly check that your belt is tight. Hope that helps
  19. You shouldnt need to remove the fuel tank to get to the sender, it could be different in the 33's though, but underneath your boot lining or the back seat carpet (depends if your seats fold down or not) there should be a round shaped metal plate which you can lever of to get to the fuel pump and intank fuel filter, attatched to it should be a little black floater connected to the sender unit. The little floater gauge just clicks off. Dont forget to relaese the pressure from your fuel system before you take off any fuel lines or you'll get a very painful shot of fuel in the eye. Then again if that little plate is nowhere to be found you just may have to get the fuel tank out, which would be a pain. And i could be wrong, but im pretty sure im right. I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong.
  20. i think bayside is only on level 3 water restrictitons, because we get our water from the island which i really cant remember the name of right now. 7am-7pm restriction and you only get certain days dependsing on your house number. Lucky i guess
  21. Dude, go an R31, still a skyline, parts are around and they dont go too bad for a first car, especially if you are still learning how to drive., plus rwd goodness and rb30s are a nice engine to start with.
  22. ^^ Trust me dude, the gunmetal grey colour is HEAPS better than the standard silver colour i have. My car : R32 4 Door Gts-t
