  1. Exactly right. Someone has rewired the constant power to a battery source due to a loom problem. Just find the wire and put a relay on it with an ignition supply.Common and easy fix for ignition loom problems also.
  2. So is it the constant or switching power that's live?
  3. Its funny, I was reading a while on the ford forums this build where a guy was after the best response and power on a barra. In summary he had huge torque down low. He broke the tranny, tail shaft and the whole rear end. And the car couldn't be driven in the wet. I will find it and post it up.
  4. Just a few plots I did a while back just for the fun of it more than anything. Might not be precise but its in the ball park. Might be of some value to someone.
  5. Don't know mate, I just went for a drive in a few, liked it, bolted one up and thrash the fk out of it and drive it daily. I am sure there are better set ups out there but I love the power delivery and the fact I drive around under boost all day in traffic and am just a gear change away from shits and giggles. Once this one goes I might bolt up an old Borg Warner s300 -66, apparently they're good value with similar characteristics.
  6. That's the one.66mm I think. Mate with a Barra has one with a bigger flapper and making 350 on 14 pounds. Response is nothing to get excited about for a 35, will see how it behaves with a valve spring change and more boost.
  7. Dual Ball Bearing Garrett To4Z . 700-750HP flow potential. Compressor wheel diameter is 84mm exd. / 66.7mm ind. (63trim) Compressor housing is .70 A/R has a 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet slip on connection. T4 Turbine housing divided A/R .84 entry, all with standard 3" V-band discharge. Turbine -Wheel: 74.2mm w/ 76 trim -T4 Divided Housing A/R .84 Compressor -Wheel: 84.0mm exd./66.7mm ind w/ 63 trim -Housing: 0.70 A/R
  8. They were BB from about 10+ years ago, old tech with BB cartridge. No shit storm, just a discussion, all good.
  9. Sorry double post.
  10. Well, the same can be said about the GT vs GTX. And the jury is still out on those as they take a shit load of boost to reap the benefits. Yet to see a gtw impress on an RB in the real world. As piggaz found out the old BB Zs aren't as bad as people make them out to be and their performance aren't really reflected on a 4th gear WOT run on a dyno sheet. As with so many perceived laggy dyno sheets, the real world says different.
  11. Garrett Zs are ball bearing
  12. Old Z with a newer style billet compressor with a bit of cleaning up comes on 300 or so earlier. Pretty much what a GTW does, yet people always claim more response, like 500 rpm, yet to see it though.
  13. The Zs work well don't they.[emoji2] [emoji2] [emoji2] Don't know what it is with the 35s but they don't seem to come back on as quick in between gear changes, where dyno sheets makes them look better than what they are in my experience. Its good to see u experienced the Z first hand, dynos tend to lie about a lot of things, but its a fun turbo that's for sure.
  14. Ha ha, love the workshop name. I agree with the others though, that AFR graph looks a bit scary. Like the red one better. I would be adding 10% more fuel across the board and then check the AFRs in the meantime mate just to keep things safe
  15. Sorry to hear you got dealt a crap hand with the build Pete. Bloody piss poor that it came down to a assembly error rather than an easy component failure and what is more piss poor is the fact they avoided making it right. Just confirms there are c%nts in this world, that's all. Good luck with getting remunerated what you are owed plus I hope you also get extra compensation for the crap you have had to go through. My gut feeling is he wont let it go for much longer when he knows you are serious about going all the way to get a fair outcome. I am also wrapped you are happy with the way it turned out, may you have many thousands kilometres of trouble free driving enjoyment. Now just fkn drive the thing.
  16. Fantastic Pete good to see it is all working out for you mate. Now drive the fkn thing and enjoy mate.
  17. Do the twin gates help with mph because I think the OP need all the help he can get to verify his claims. My bet is 130ish

Another great example of a chemical being used as a medicinal substance in supervised and controlled environment and being administered by experts to treat an abnormal condition. I don't think anyone has got a problem with that, do you? The results look promising however the sample is quite small. It also is not an independent double blind placebo study which renders it unreliable from a scientific viewpoint, however if a larger sampled clinical trial (1000+) rendered similar results then it should be seriously investigated to be a viable treatment for the above-mentioned presentations. Of course the administration of such a substance would have to be under strict supervision, conditions and controls given the nature of the substance being used. But yeah, all for it if it heals, that's what medicine is right?
  20. Ha ha you guys crack me up.
  21. End thread.
  22. Ha ha hook line and sinkerYou're funny Pete
  23. Ha ha I think you are right.
  24. Come on with all these super responsive setups, you should be able to pass in a heartbeat. Oh that's right you refuse to gear down... he he he
