To the OP - if you're going to take the "do it once, do it right" approach then I suggest heading to pedders and just have a suss out of their stuff, but it is pricey. Otherwise theres not much info on the type of suspension people are running and feedback, perhaps a new thread should be started so people can tell us what gear they're running and what its like on the street/track, how easy it is to adjust, what settings they use how much they paid etc etc. Would be a handy thread!

The alarm is probably powered from your stereo in some way, or perhaps they share the same Earth or could be many things. Revert everything you did, retrace your steps.

Hey Chids34 - I also recently got my hands on a stock 34, I have been hunting around now for some decent suspension for 2 reasons - 1.) I hate how high it is, and 2.) I would like some better performance. Basically I walked into petters and got a quote of $1400 for their fully adjustable fully warranted suspension setup, or $2300 installed plus a 1500km set-up time where in that 1500km you could bring the car back anytime and have them alter the ride stiffer/softer, lower/higher etc. Also everything they do is warranted for 3 years. I've heard from GTR owners that BC coil overs are a fantastic option as they don't apparently sacrifice any comfortability for street use and they are around $1100 on ebay. I've also seen nolathane bush kits for the 33's and 34's on ebay from $80-$300, depending on how much you want to replace. Let us know if you decided on something and how it feels/handles on the road, also would be keen to see ride height.

hey guys I've bought my 3rd skyline the other week, a R33 this time, I have never fitted an after market steering wheel to a skyline and some people have told me thats theres something you need to do so it doesn't f**k the HICAS system. is this true? if so how? I'm guessing this topic has been raised before but I can't find the thread. A link would be appreciated, or can someone just tell me what I need to do once I get my factory wheel of? thanks in advance

sorry to res an old thread, but thought I would share a new way of doing this. I am going to use the new "tri" colour LED's witch is one LED with 3 colours, and 4 pins instead of the normal 2. my plan is to have 4 try colour LED's to just lightly light up the "skyline panel" when the lights or parkers are on, then when the brakes are applied, another 7 tri coloured LED's will light up (same colour) and act as a brake light. there will obviously be a 3 way switch to select between the 3 colours (red, blue and green). I will probably have this in the ash tray up the front so its hidden. I've given it a lot of thought, and being an electronics geek I've already drawn up plans. I've only just bought my S1 panel of a SAU member as I have a S2 R33. heres a pic of the LED's I'm talking about, and I'll make sure I upload pics once its done and even a tutorial if enough people show interest. I may consider doing this for others if they pay for all the parts

I'm so sorry to hear this man. I know exactly how you feel. someone stole my R34 9 months ago, i recently found it because some f**kwit was selling parts of it on ebay, (I never gave up looking because the police do f**k ALL) long story short heres a before and after pic....

as it says, R34 HICAS for sale, will post or pickup is geelong. $150 is a fair price id say. can post pics upon request, its still attached to the car, so I'm not going to take it off unless you genuinely want to buy it.

as the title says, fuel pump out of a turbo neo 6 the part for sale is from the hose back to the fuel pump, with the metal plate etc. looking for $40 ono, pickup is geelong or will post. PM me.

hey guys my mate has passed this on to me and I'd like to sell it, but firstly id like to know if its a proper gtr cluster or not? it says GTR but it only goes up to 180 kmph anyway you can see it has genuine 79,000 ks on the clock so I would like to see offers of $200 plus, it has a nice looking carbon fibre surround, and will post for free if i get the right price, cheers.
