  1. Shit that's nice! Looks just like mine haha. Those Z wheels really fill out the guards, is that stock ride height? if not what sort of coilys you got there?

  3. With summer just around the corner and the sun starting to warm up our tyres, there is no better time to throw on a meet+cruise+drag event, Anyone and everyone is welcome (yes even Honda's) to come along and join us! Geelong people will be meeting up at the Bunnings Warehouse North Geelong car park at 10am, then we will leave shortly after everyone has arrived. We will head up to Calder park, approx 50 min drive where you may either spectate ($25) or enter your car for unlimited runs down the quarter mile ($70) All you need to compete is a aus/nz approved helmet and a roadworthy car. As mentioned everyone is welcome to come along and if you can't meet us in Geelong then meet us at Calder park raceway around 11.30am They usually have a canteen with plenty of food for lunch, full facilities, toilets sitting areas etc, also after every quarter mile run you will get a printout of your times. Great way to test the performance of your everyday street car legally! For all those who would like to come along, either send me a PM or leave a reply in the thread. My number is 0466 103 384 for those running late/need details. 4. I'm guessing as soon as you have the money/one becomes available for sale. Terribly sorry about your skyline, look into getting a private accessor because the insurance company will offer you peanuts if they write it off.
  5. Pizza dough made from yeast - yeast is a key ingredient in making alcohol.
  6. hey man PM me I will send you all the standard globes I just pulled out of my r34 gtt cluster and a/c. You can have them for free ! I was only gonna throw them in the bin anyways.
  7. It sure is abused! I've heard myths that someone got away with drink driving by claiming they "ate a cherry ripe". Save lives? I dunno, but if its going to stop drink drivers running into me then I'm all for it. Last April a drunk driver rear ended my pride and joy 180sx and completely wrote it off... luckily he had full comp insurance and I bought a 34, even though I'm over the moon about my 34, I'd still rather have not gone through that heartbreak I experienced!
  8. I have been drug tested about 4-5 years ago when I was on my P's in Geelong, obviously negative result. I think it is a great thing, because if there is any trace of drugs then that = a court date/fine whatever... HOWEVER with alcohol its kind of a temptation thing... Because we are allowed to be .05 we know we can get away with having a drink, or is it half a drink for some people? or can the big guy (me) have 2 standard drinks and be fine? Or maybe even that pot you had with dinner has put you over.. and there is no way of finding out either!? Sure you can spend up to a grand on a proper breath testing unit but who the f**k does that?, and furthermore it's still not going to give the same result as the police breath tester!... Either way its a messed up situation, and I strongly believe that it should be .00 for EVERYONE and also no drugs... coz drugs are bad mmkaayyy Edit - the only reason I believe it should be 00 is because it then takes the temptation away, so theres no guessing if your drink driving or not.

  12. I just had my 34 aligned, ill post up the sheet tomorrow so you can compare mate! But yeah my mates r33 used to jump around and was "skittish" when you hit bumps, sort of as you described.. he deleted hicas and problem went away.

  14. yeah either way it looks good and I think I read somewhere that it helps with exhaust flow? either way its a good idea to protect other things from getting to hot.
  15. Because science. lol but it has an effect on the wrap that shrinks it when wet, then once dry and heated up it will expand therefore clinging to your exhaust pipes better. Thats another thing, be sure to wrap it firmly. I'm sure there would be a few video's on youtube if you get stuck.
  16. (paint in VHT paint)
  17. haha ok then, well yeah you gotta make sure you wet the wrap first, soak it with heaps of water, then start at the bottom and work your way towards the engine, use stainless steel cable ties to hold it on, then once finished start car and it will dry it out/tighten the wrap around your exhaust as it gets hotter. Some people paint the wrap afterwards to seal it or make it look better.
