  1. Sorry for asking for the name, I didn't mean to start a flame war! As you can understand I've been shopping around and was searching for the best quality injector for my setup... hence me asking the name, again sorry. Scotty, I'll be in touch very shortly to order what we had discussed earlier. Thanks - Dan
  2. I've actually just found this in another thread, the guy said some screws came loose on the back of his cluster, might be worth taking yours out and checking the screws? heres the link its the 10th post down. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/442473-mattz-96-33gtst-build/
  3. so is this where you go to rip skids haha
  4. woah ok, what a problem! But considering the car runs fine or like normal the entire time I'd have to suggest faulty tacho metre. Theres not really much else I can think of to replace here... Anywho I mentioned the piggy back ecu because I had some issues with hicas lights and traction control lights with my piggy back. perhaps get your hands on a cluster and plug it in see what happens. Good luck.
  5. I throughly enjoy cheese, and when I can't find my cheese in the supermarket I don't tell the managers how the deli has "gone to the dogs"... but my point is, I just really enjoy cheese.
  6. are they Xspurts?
  7. owe yes some cutting would have to be involved I would assume.... and to remove the gauge pod you need only to wedge out the centre ac vents, then you will see 2 screws holding the pod in place (for GTT's anyway) might be easier for you to look into mounting the gauges elsewhere? I originally had everything set up like this >>>>> But was too crowded so I actually installed my head unit where the gauges are supposed to go and put the gauges where the head unit was..
  8. you running a piggy back ecu?
  9. why on earth could you not use 1400's? Is this a tuning error, or something to do with the ecu setup that won't allow for 1400's? What brand are they ?
  10. to be honest, it would be easier to rig up aftermarket gauges, also isn't the r34 GT non turbo? what would you do with the boost gauge then :s
  11. did anyone go? i couldn't make it was too drunk already
  12. I'm in Geelong, I'll happily bring my 34 down and give you some lessons?
  13. sounds like something is slightly misaligned, you've gotta think about any changes that have been made to that area of the car recently.
  14. serious? why so many? everyone must be alco's Either way I'm in. Hotel - Bayview on the park is just across the road and its about $100 for the night (twin share), and I think theres even a place to park your car? secured?
  15. whatttt! thats a real thing? so they obviously don't know that you've changed to a kingy and worked the hell out of it? good for you mate. and why not get the 1000cc's???
  16. Thanks
  17. I actually saw one for sale I think it was ebay, it was second hand and looked a bit rough (like someone had made it) but if its just a basic sub it would have been perfect. Keep looking you'll find one soon enough. Also if you have your jack in the boot make sure the sub goes on the opposite side.
  18. Thats interesting Peter, let us know how you go with nrma, but at this stage I'm only looking to get 3rd party, I also have a dash cam so if I'm not at fault, I have proper proof on a camera (no hassles in small claims court) or if I'm at fault, then 3rd party covers the other person, and I'm stuck with damage to my car. My 180sx was rear ended, written off, I was offer 9k from aami, had a private accessor check out my car, aami then offered 21k the accessor took 4k. I got all my money back, every cent. paid 8k for the car, and had receipts for work done and parts purchased.
  19. nice, is it going to be on the youtubes? is marty and moog going to do some silly video about finding poo under the seats on it?
  20. I seriously doubt he's got an exemption, he'd just be one of the few who risk having there cars impounded/crushed plus several years of loss of license, just to get a turbo car a few years earlier... I dunno, maybe its just me but it doesn't sound like its worth it. Unless he registers it in his parents name (or older full licensed driver) and plays dumb once pulled over? I dunno probably won't stop the impound/fine/loss of license. Nice car though, should have paid the extra $100 and got the 1000cc's as the 34 gtt is a top feed rail.
  21. Yeasss going all out with the haltech, is scotty going to set all that up for you? I'd love to do exactly that in my 34 but to much $$$$!!! Please don't paint it like Midnight purple, or bayside blue... do a colour that every other import owner hasn't done yet!
  22. Oh my god I shed a tear reading this! Man you didn't even get to see it or drive it ahhhhhh!! I'd be pulling my hair out. You covered with insurance from the shipping company and stuff?
  23. Yeah last time I went to thailand I found this cellphone jammer for like $20 aud that also included a gps blocker, also blocks wifi, 3g, and 3 other things, I can upload a photo if you want? Its battery operated, don't ask me why i bought it, I've never needed to use it I'll have to check out nrma, But if you've got insurance then why bother spending more on updating security system if you already pay insurance?
  24. You might have to check out the forum rules on buying/selling/trading, then come back and edit your post. Nice car glws
