  1. also prone to breaking studs so check those too
  2. +1 rb20
  3. yeah, give it a try, even if not the cause of this problem should still be done
  4. try blocking the pcv as mentioned, don't worry about getting it
  5. whichever run in method if the engine gives out this way it was doomed from the start
  6. looks like 2 to me
  7. the 32 26 we have here has a different plug,(looking at pic 2)
  8. that one is for the auto so is unused on manual, see the other plug off the tps on the short loom?
  9. yeah looks like a 32, there's a 32 26 i can double check tomorrow
  10. do you have a pic of the ecu and dash plugs end of the loom? and or pic of plugs where coil loom connects?
  11. the neo cam angle sensor is the black plastic cap type which has a different drive to the 33 alloy type, the wiring is just reversed (mirror immage) just use the complete 33 intake s1 and 2 same, everything will swap from the s1, there is a late s2 which has the neo type cas also
  12. if getting new from nissan you could just order the one that suits the engine loom you have?, haven't had my hands on 33 26s but i'd guess the difference would be the smaller plug (& wiring) next to igniter?
  13. you can use all the original bolt ons from the s1 to the neo, you'll need the neo CAS and swap the wiring, you can use the s1 coils on the neo but can only line up 1 bolt, if you were set on doing it that way you could bodge up a tab the holds the other side otherwise if you can find a low k tidy s1 or 2 would make it easy for straight replacement
  14. +1 for import motor, most the neos will be between 98-2000 so still 12-14 years old, the difference isn't as much as 1 is 8 years old & the other 20?, s1 93-95ish, s2 95-98ish, neo 98-02ish
  15. the gts25 r32 came with 25de, the rb20 with the turbo removed should've run not too bad, slow, but not running too terribly enough to bother someone that would do a -T, have you done the usual checks? put a turbo back on? even a stock 20 turbo (i think zebra is asking why you think you need to change the gearbox?)
  16. doors are same
  17. no i didn't, i meant if you can't pick the diff the coils & mans will fit so what bluey is saying is carefully & meticulously assemble the engine MPMP /
  18. i also made no gain in hp removing z32, using g4-map sensor and 100mm intake pipe at around 300kw, car does make 50 more kw now but its from boost
  19. if it's a long motor you would be doing well to pick a s1 from s2, unless it's the last of the s2 with the neo type cas
  20. fix the van, keep the skyline
  21. YES!! they will notice when you push or tow it in as will run for f all until the plugs are wet! plus they'll prob test drive it before the deal is completed
