  1. apparently also used to create patterns/designs on glasses (mate is an optometrist, told me about this) - cheaper than actually MAKING glasses in that design/pattern. would love to use something like this to refurbish my interior! not widely available in AUS as far as i know
  2. Nismo duct sold. Many enquiries about steering wheel but nobody has committed! Tim: will get back to you about the gauges.
  3. Get yourself a Christmas present!Make an offer on the gauges!
  4. Get yourself a Christmas present!Make an offer on the gauges!
  5. ^hahahahahha that was fun. good times. sucks that you get bad sport alerts for destroying cars, but not when people just camp and continuously kill other people!? funny when we got stuck on the rooftop!
  6. I'm also in the north shore area, evenings is fine by me!
  7. 50$ as previously mentioned! If you need postage it'll be extra though.
  8. i THINK it is because a GT-V has the suspension setup of a GTT but without the turbo (from factory) - and this includes brakes, and a lot of other things.. Do a search on this. then of course, people can buy a 25GT and then put in a strut brace.
  9. i have a set of steel wheel nuts, were originally chrome/silver colour but i spray painted them (rattle can) a matt black, im gonna be honest here the spray job is dodgy and will probably chip away, if you're desperate you can have the set for 15$. You could probably get some paint stripper and remove the dodgy paint.
  10. I think MOST of us here have old electric cars anyway! that'll keep us all together...hopefully!
  11. Got a couple of things to clean out. Folder of pics: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kpp6kbye5al40vc/QTkzClmNrJ 1. Set of 4 BF Defi gauges + Link unit. Includes: Water temp, Oil temp, Oil pressure, Boost (BAR). They are currently in a custom made carbon gauge holder, and all the units are daisy-chain linked together and to the Link unit - but there are no sensors/wires so you will need the sensors + wires. Bought this to put in my own car but plans have changed. Price: 700$ ONO - make an offer. https://www.dropbox.com/s/m662bxp4mbtvy7o/2013-12-14%2013.00.13.jpg 2. Nismo ER34 oil cooler duct. Self explanatory. price: 200$ Pics here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/iysjc4wi2yhtqmq/QAjyRucO7K 3. R34 Manual steering wheel with airbag. Seems to have been chemically stripped or something, it's very smooth, not torn or ripped. Came on the car like this, have a new wheel in now. More pictures in the link at the very top of this post. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kpp6kbye5al40vc/AmT1nXkKfn/2013-12-17%2019.17.51.jpg 4. Apexi pen style turbo timer, black. Purchased second hand but decided to not run a turbo timer, bought from another member here on SAU. Very good condition, comes with all wires and sensors, very little markings on the screen. Will get pics up soon. Price: 50$. Location: Sydney, NSW. Contact: PM or SMS during work hours 04twotwo 839 triple8 Would prefer local meetup/pickup but am willing to post but buyer pays all postage.
  12. Not sure but you could go for HEL braided lines, they seem to be popular on SAU as well. Having said that, I'm going to probably get either HEL or Nismo braided brake lines soon as well.
  13. Would be very interested in the horror stories Marcus, please forward me some if you have the time!
  14. Paul, great to meet you that day. and a massive apology for being so late. Next time we meet, whether it is Japan or Australia, I owe you a solid bowl of ramen. Hope work is going well! And you've had me really tossing up whether to jump overseas or not... Oh and by the way, we went to the Yokohama Ramen museum later that day - some of the stuff there is top notch, others, a little average. But well worth it.
  15. bumpy. surely someone wants to cool their car?
  16. Marcus, me and my mate did exactly that - we rented an 86 and drove from Shibuya to Hakone, up around the mountain to an onsen, then to Lake Ashi and then across the mountain to Yokohama - then to Daikoku Futo that night (IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT EVER) - and back to shinjuku. That was the most amazing day of our trip. And the roads (especially mountain roads) are amaaaaaaaazzinnnnnnnnnnggggggggg
  17. hahaha i also have the fried chicken, it's good, i love it in fact but their fried noodles are also pretty authentic in the taste department, just small!
  18. Dat wing! nice rims too. perhaps we should look at setting up a race day some time in the next month or two, do people have time?
  19. Love the high wing stands!
  20. FARK if only the brake lines were for a GTT......good price mate, hopefully someone snaps these up
  21. Spotted this GTR at home!
  22. taste and all is good, but in terms of value, not the best. quite a small plate of fried noodles.
