ahhahahaha well fark me seems like my ps3's wirelss has decided to conk out, or something else wrong with it, i cannot get it to connect to the net and thus i haven't even DLed the online update yet....fark me. no biggie though, i don't mind waiting a while until the online gets ironed out a bit...i just hope my wireless somehow comes back or else im gonna be pissed...and buy a ps4

This could be start of something guys! A meet/race once in a while could be real fun. To be honest I'm not too fussed about being outsped etc, just looking for a track to race on + some friends to race with. Which brings me to my next point, whilst i cannot an ECU + engine + turbo overhaul for the R34, I can indeed afford an ECU + motor upgrade for the RC...I have plans already to stick in a brushless <10T motor!

Just for a start: go over every nut and bolt you have that is aftermarket suspension gear and check to see if anything is loose - if you haven't already.

Thanks for all the replies so far. I'm purely looking for a track to drive my car on, not competitive racing. I'm aware of the tracks in Tempe + Castle hill, i think castle hill is the 'closest' for me, and i might give it a go, just emailing them to find out whether they open on weekends for practice drives. I've been in contact with the Castle hill club, and they did in fact inform me that there are no tracks up north/Hornsby. Eric, Terry, NRV155 - perhaps we could all race together some time? Mine is a TB-02, got it way back in early 2000s...it is relatively stock! And by relatively i mean it has an upgraded (apparently - but only slightly) motor, and some soon-to-arrive suspension upgrades. Oh and Terry - I have an R34GTR Z tune shell on the way, i will finally achieve my dream of owning a 10-second (1/10 ratio ahhahaha) GTR.

Started off as a FIFA fan on ps2, was introduced to PES and since then i've stuck with it. yes it sucked early on in the ps3 versions and in fact for the last few years too...but even so, it has always had the same sense of 'simulator' rather than flashy tricks showpony game that FIFA is. the way i see it, FIFA is like a ricer with unlimited budget. but PES is like a home build, solid and done slowly and properly - with hiccups on the way! haven't played this year's yet because all time dedicated to GTA but will probably stick with PES, purely because i am used to it. so i guess i'm pretty biased.

Like spray paint our logo over it? also racing(fighting) the evo/sti guys, i think we might need some kind of organisation at least to find where they are so we can trash their clubhouse meet up with them

have a go at removing the dash and cleaning all the connectors...? i think it's a cheaper option (than repairing) if you buy a second hand dash unit. i may be wrong. as for your parker lights they should be T10 wedge LEDs, ebay is your best friend here.

Hi all, recently brought my RC car out of its coffin, am starting to do upgrade it from stock as i finally have funds for it. Looking for some people to race with (for fun!) in Sydney, preferably up north, like ryde, hornsby, chatswood etc. Does anyone know of any on-road tracks?

Don't take the pacific highway from hornsby to chatswood, on a saturday 11-1pm. it's worse than 8am peak hour traffic.

go around to wreckers yards, that's a Altia front bar not a nismo front bar. you'll have more luck there. in fact go on yahoo auctions japan, these front bars can be had for pretty cheaply. and by the time you get them shipped over here, should still be under 500$ as your budget indicates

I was also thinking of putting up something like this. I happened to meet the same group of HWP earlier in the day, as my group of cars were parked on the side of the road. The 4 HWP turned up, and my first though after hearing all the internet horror stories, was, they're here to screw us all. But instead, not a thing was asked about our cars except "is that a real skyline" --> my answer, no, unfortunately it's not a GTR but it is a real skyline. We chatted about his HWP car and he mentioned how he wished he could put a chip in and turn the boost up...haha! great guy. And then they got on with setting up the RBT and we went on our way.

depending on how bad the rust is, 7000$ sounds like a bargain. Though, that's because I'm comparing it to what we'd pay in Australia (20k +). I'm sure you could find someone to fix up that rust and you'd still be sitting with a winner. But really if i were you, i'd be considering what the actual damage is and what the outlay is to fix it. Alternatively go and find another one without rust! Will most likely cost you a fair bit more though. On another note...I wonder how many more skylines are just sitting in storage in Japan?

That would be awesome. Oh by the way i think i saw a 'good' set of Teins on sale on SAU/JDMST (same person) a few months ago, for GTR. Have a look. I think they were about 1500, and he'd shipped them in but never put them in his car and put them up for sale? Worth a lot more. But hey if you saw a set going cheap then jump on them! And you could always change the springs to a softer rate!

no personal experience, but why not the bilstein PSS9 (or see if they have some even higher spec coilovers?) or go for aragosta etc...i mean, from what i've heard cusco coilovers in general are great and all, just not suited to our streets (too stiff).
