You're always helpful but I think this has crossed the line! You're TOO helpful! If someone cannot figure out how to find something on the internet in this day and age..

Don't live in the SW, don't travel there often - but what i can comment on is that this money is better spent on public transport infrastructure rather then creating more road for cars to clog up. Absolutely effing stupid. And what's worse is most likely, roads surrounding the westconnex will be suddenly 'reconfigured' so to force people to use it...just like the LCT. I absolutely hate driving down Lane Cove road from the epping section out past Lane Cove, but in order to get to the city or even North Sydney, that's the only direct way without detouring via chatswood OR going via five dock. It's absolute madness. In that vein, I would say I hope to be out of here by the time it's done. Or sooner.

Just Got A R34 An Want Comprehensive Car Insurance
darksky34 replied to Aftermarf's topic in Western Australia
well, depends on whether you're legally allowed to drive it....? have a search of the forum there is a thread about insurance (many) i'm sure you'll find options there. Justcar, NRMA etc. -
Maybe because I'm trying to experience an art exhibition from photos rather than in real life, that's why i'm finding it hard to appreciate! I myself do like art, perhaps you should google Dale Chihuly if you haven't heard of him, amazing stuff! Well, i went with my family back then. To a hotel with onsen on the open air balcony. It was winter. And it was pretty awesome, because being in an onsen (even though i felt like i was being boiled alive) looking up at the starry sky, little light pollution, with the quaint japanese architecture (buildings) in the distance...it was quite an experience. And the hotel itself had this amazing dinner, it was like a 10 course traditional japanese dinner, small portions but a wide variety, you'd never get anything like that in Australia. And the best bit as mentioned before was wearing a yukata and sleeping on tatami. Hakone is a great relaxing place for a day or 2, you should spend a weekend there!

wow it DOES look good.

I'm assuming you're in Japan. If so you are very lucky because you have direct access to Upgarage/Yahoo Auctions Japan. Go on there and find yourself a set of Ohlins OR Bilsteins. Or even, go on RHDJapan and buy a set of Bilstein/Ohlins. But on the Upgarage/Yahoo you will find the best prices and possibly a very good deal. Bilstein can be just shock + springs (buy a set you like, for example RSR/Espelir/Eibach!!!) and match them up with Bilsteins. For Anti-roll bars brands, once again look on Upgarage/Yahoo for these. You can have top brands for very good prices. I would stick with Nismo or Cusco. These are top of the line brands but they won't be top of the line prices.

Coilovers, New To Sau And Mods
darksky34 replied to JaseECR33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
you may want to have a look in the for sale section here, i think there was a set of aragosta coilovers for the r33 for roughly that price, probably less. they will most likely be better than anything else you can get at that price considering what they're worth and their quality. oh and check all your bushings in your arms, subframe, etc. maybe replace with whiteline/superpro bushes, as our old cars will most likely have flogged out bushings somewhere. -
wow they sure do love their goldfish. not entirely sure that i'd appreciate that exhibition, so what brought you to go there? Also, your mention of a kimono reminded me, i really want to buy a yukata! I wore one the last time i was in Hakone at a hotel...it was magical

are we talking about the drain plugs which you undo to release the air after putting in the new coolant?
-
Can i have stickers too? Mine is peeling!
-
so, so true. no more needs to be said!

yes both of the valves are on the top of the engine, one is at the back near the AAC valve and the other is near the front of the engine (both have "DO NOT TOUCH WHEN HOT on/near them so should be pretty obvious). the 34 drain plug is NOT a biatch to get to, it is a very nice easy girl, just simply stick your head under your mud tray directly under the passenger side of the radiator (left) and you will see a hole, shine a torch up that hole you will see the plug, use a screwdriver to let her loose! and if you're still not sure have a good search around here because there are threads with pictures (for the r33 but same thing for 34).

Problems Matching Paint - Kv2 For R34 Gtt
darksky34 replied to Chris32's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Going all DIY is fine and it seems like you're doing an ok job so far so why not go to an actual paint shop and ask them to match the paint for you then mix it up then you can do it yourself! -
Thanks Dave, works great and love the new feature of the car. Feels a little more luxury now. pics and short writeup http://sevenstarleaf.wordpress.com/2013/09/11/do-you-even-lift/

Having visited Heasman's the previous week I was extra excited for the tech night and it absolutely did not fail my expectations. You can really tell every single guy there knows their stuff which is very reassuring. Here's a few of my pictures. -
