tom_g how much do you want for them :)

They aren't for sale. I will be putting them on my car i'm just waiting until i do the rest of the suspension, which could take a month or 2, so if Roy wants to borrow them for Calder i don't mind. :(

They're for R32 as well so probably no good for you.

You can have mine if you want. I just picked up some new whiteline swaybars today but  i probably won't put them on for a while, so they'll just be sitting here in the boxes.

I won't be driving at Calder, but i'll come and watch.

Thanks for the offer, but i get back on Saturday morning at about 7am. So it would be a busy day to change the fluids, slave cylinder, put seat in the car and make it to Calder by 4pm. Having to put swaybars on would only make life that more difficult....so bugger i am goign to have ot miss another day.... :P

I spoke to Tony this afternoon. He said entry lists up shortly. There are less than 30 entries at the moment which is why none have been posted up.

Sup req's should finally be up tonight so the entries should start to come in now.

I will be using semi’s but this will probably be the only time this year, the rears have about 1mm of tread left on the rears :) But it doesn’t matter I am slower than the guys with street rubber anyway :)

Hey - anyone who hasnt been to Calder before and wants to see some in-car footage here's a good one of a 911 Carrera Sport 3.2

Lap of Calder - Its pretty big at 7.3MB as a warning.

But it gives you a good feel for the bumps at the end of the straight, the hill and the flip flop.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
