just wondering what turbo would be best on a auto r33 25t

i would like a turbo that kicks in the low rpm towards close to redline

because auto wont even let me rev it close to redline

it just changes gear on its own

any auto SAU's that has had experience with this problem?

i was more looking into a HKS 2530? kicks in at 35k rpm

I have a 2535 on my Auto R33, its a great turbo, peaks around 6500 with

tons of midrange, only a few hundred RPM more lag than standard turbo, you can barely feel it

I have that same problem atm though, sometimes after a few runs, the auto gearbox just shifts earlier and earlier. I have no idea why. So I get a great first run but it just gets worse after.

yea I have a transcooler and valvebody upgrade

didnt solve anything, during the install changed the fluid, and filter

problem still there, Im trying to install oil temp gauge to keep tabs on the auto box temperature, but having problems finding fittings for it

I cant imagine what your new RB30DET is going to be like with the 2535,tow a road train.

Recommend a highflow, There are two types, GCG do one with a BB cartridge, retails for around $1650, The other is a new bush bearing cartridge, Retails for around $1350. You retain standard plumbing & ducting.

Have done this upgrade on a couple of customer cars and they retain similar boost threshhold but pull right through revrange. your auto issues probably warrant a full manual valve body. Do the turbo upgrade fist, and go from there.

i have a r33 turbo on my auto 32gtst. + SAFC

no problem pulling to redline.

the problem was it wasnt changing quick enough before redline and therefore just hit the limiter.

this problem will be solved very soon as my g/box is being rebuilt much much stronger

at what rev does the gcg hi flowed turbo's kick in?

is there any site to help me on this?

i was more thinking on hi flowing but last thing i want is a laggy turbo that goes off for a bit then my car changes gear... no benefit at all

aquariuz6 - you have posted a number of threads in the past month.

In each one you are asking something totally different, or very similar questions

You need to set a goal and stick to it

Then read the RB25 Dyno Sticky and see what works for you.

If you then compare the turbos yourself, and plug that against the goal that you end up deciding on.

Im not trying to be rude or anything, but we cant really help you, if you cant decide and then stick to it.

As RB Power said, you have an auto, if you get the right convertor you wont loose bottom end as much

    • That still isn't a lot to go on. I don't have a Y50 Fuga Head Unit wiring diagram. I can say that a lot of nissans of that age shared head unit plugs, so if you are in Australia something like this would probably help: https://aerpro.com/app091# You plug that into the car loom, then either plug the head unit ISO into that (if it has ISO), or you buy and ISO adapter harness that you wire in. Bit of stuffing around, but once you have ISO its easy to change things in future.
    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
