went last night for a few hours not bad initial impressions were okay nothing really special there apart from the enzo.. had plenty of time to kill so just walked around checked out all the cars went about 4pm so not too many people but started to fill up later. Talked to a few of the car chicks also to kill some time, audi girls looked great and were friendly, VW girls were also not bad as were the Mini chicks, Toyota ones okay, most of the holden girls were a bit skanky I thought, didn't see any of the mitsubishi chicks they must come out later, Merc girls were nice and friendly talked to this girl for a while just casually and she let me sit in the AMG SL55 while she did the roof demo thingy - awesome hehehe. Chick on the lambo stand was pretty cool as well chatted to ger for about half an hour.. heheh. Sat in the 350Z very nice but the chick sitting on the stool next to the car was totally up her self.. Anyway cars - nismo 350Z farkin awesome looks fat just needs turbos you can order the whole kit form the dealer. mazda rx8 looked good but you couldn't sit in it, enzo was pure horn as was lambo murcielago speedster thingo, BMW M3 convertible, AUDi RS6 looked pure horn for a pimpin mobile as did the A8 and Bentley's.. Some of the stands pretty glitzy also lots of interactive displays etc. Holden 427 Monaro very disappointed wheels looked tiny for 220 grand large or whatever I want somethiggn a lot better, liked the green SS ute / panelvan with the mattress in the back hehehe. Ford GT and GTp looked great also seemed to be very poplular. Blood orange colour looked great I thought.. Ford staff were very helpful and keen and eager to please also. HSV cars were all locked which I thought was a bit rich esp as Ford were all open for every man and his dog, staff didn't seem to friendly either. the Nissan guy wouldn't leave me alone after started talking about the 350z, same with the mazda guy and the RX8. Seems Holden don't want to sell you a car. Even the Audi guy was happy to chat about many oo the cars also even opened up the RS6 for a quick look. BMW people seemed a bit snooty though. SAAB sales guy and girls wouldn't let me go without giving me all these brochures and a test drive heheh.

last stop went on the 4wd test track pretty small but well done for the area. Two very steep hills and descents and some other rocky and stone bits and a tilting seesaw ramp as well. One bit where the car balances on two wheels left and right momentarily as well. Went in a new pajero which was very impressive quiet and smooth and did it with ease, not bad for a family truckster. They also had the new Prado there, Hyundai Terrible Can and new landcuriser 100 series and Patrol I think.

some pic here only 32 meg card in camera and was in high res mode.

    • Ok guys thank you very much. GCG highflow it is then 🙂
    • forgot to mention that when it does this it does not kill the engine, but I have not kept the pedal down long enough to let it, as I see no reason to beat up on it as its got to be something simple, small and dumb causing this.  And as soon as I let off pedal, the engine returns to its normal super smooth operation and rpms re-stabilize quickly, once below 4k.
    • neither stumble or cut really seem to be an appropriate term....hard to explain its like a rev limiter but at 4k, but it violently shakes engine and entire vehicle as the rpms will not rise over 4k, even with slow acceleration. as soon as it hits 4k, it sounds like entire spark is lost entirely. plugs were 1.1 which I used as such, but later put in new plugs gapped down to .8 changed back after issue arose when I replaced the coils, still does it with either plug gap...damn and it was all running so good.
    • Oh how times have changed! I actually lean it out relative to my water/methanol injector duty cycle. The methanol adds a lot of fueling and you can then lean it out even more due to reduced knock.
    • Yeah my thoughts are the same, a well thought out WMI setup, would be slightly ahead of just straight E85 and you're also chemically intercooling the charged air, dropping it even further. This is why you need to add so much more fuel as soon as you spray. I remember someone taking me through their set up before (Dennis, has a R33, lives around Cabramatta - no idea if he's still around on this forum). He would target AFR 10:1 on 98, then as WMI ramped on, AFR would lean back up to 11:1. Amazingly, he did this all through his PowerFC, a relay to cut power to his EBC solenoid if there was not enough line pressure on his WMI kit. And of course, if there wasn't any boost made above gate pressure, you wouldn't be accessing the load cells with heaps of timing for WMI. One downside to that rudimentary setup, once the WMI came on, the EBC would unleash the dragon, and of course all the timing. Tyres would fry lol.
