wgmg people who have their ipods too loud on the train or bus

haha..there's this guy on my plane everyweek that has his ipod on so loud i can hear it with my earplugs in and through the drone of the plane. And when the plane lands and turns the engine off he is still singing >.>

People who can't merge properly, can't change lanes properly, can't negotiate roundabouts properly, can't indicate properly, people on the freeway who can't do the speed limit, and people who don't indicate when turning right at an intersection with no filter lane until they are in the middle of the intersection.

So yeah, most of Perth.

WGMG?

Old people driving who can't drive for shit.

Like recently, I approached a round about and slowed and stopped cause an old man and his wife in a Toyota Camry were coming through and they had the right of way. Then the dumb bastard stops in the roundabout to give way to me, while he holds up very busy and angry traffic, even with me signaling for him to go and the traffic behind him going nuts he still wouldn't go!

He eventually went through... I could have gone infront of him but I didn't because 1) he wouldn't have learned anything and would continue to do it. 2) I'm pretty sure it's illegal for me to cut infront of him.

Also, just to save another post.

WGMG?

WA police with their double standards.

A cop lives next door to a guy I work with. The cop bought a brand new VE ute, I looked at it today and he had the tint done since I last saw it. I could barely see through it was that dark. The tint on my car is darkest legal, his was about double the darkness. He might as well have sprayed his windows with black paint...

He wouldn't ever get a sticker for that, Yet they'd pull anyone of us over and try tell us our tint is too dark...

thats a bit rude huh double standards indeed....

i once had a mate who made up some police bumper stickers that read...

cop/crim

theres no differance

he got pulled over that many times but he never ever took it off as he knows its not illegal

id put one on but i only like to be raped by surprise

some dudes have nothing better to do huh

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
