Opportunity to get some track time and driver training. Looks good and I will be in this one.

Practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect, otherwise might develop bad lines and bad driving habits.

Check it out.

do you get to hit the track or have to listen to him gibber

I got a bit peeved with him gibbering in my ear so i turfed him and put Warren in the passenger seat and not only did my lap times improve but my headache went.

i am interested but it looks to me like its for guys who can actually drive to start with

it seems like its a race driver training/practice day rather than a general driving course. i have only done one defensive driving course before and also been on skidpan and wakefield but it seems like its only for the experts..

does anyone know if this is the case?? or is it open to beginners as well? any prerequisites?

I will be going if that counts for anything!

hahaha... i wouldn't let him in the car with me after seeing what he did to that 4wd

No pre requisites and I am sure will cater for all types of cars and drivers other than those with think their cup is full. He he.

Ian Luff will be part of the day and he is in high demand and one of Australia's leading driver training specialist and a great team. I like his blunt dry humour but some softies get offended I guess. Plus I would rather be told what to do and why I am doing wrong, rather than have someone agree with something wrong.

There will be plenty of track time and those who go will sure to improve their performance a lot. I have been going to Oran Park scince 1984 and been around it many times but always willing to listen to someone indepentant and with more experience and techniques.

    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
    • That's one of the reasons I got that breed, they look weird, the other reasons are they small, they are very vocal, and run around like they are on crack, I didn't want a breed that just sits around, these two are like kids on red cordial  My daughter has one, and it's a laugh riot, constantly doing Parkour around the house, sits on her shoulder, plays catch, and constantly runs around the house taking turns chasing the dog around, her Bermese though, just lays around with constant bitch face, and just looks on in utter disgust at the cat and dog playing together
    • I'm getting PTSD flashbacks seeing that name again.  With my turbo swift, I got 1,500km of street use on a Jim Berry clutch before it exploded and took out my input shaft with it.
