just picked up my new beast yesterday afternoon, cars stock apart from the DAYZ body kits...its a 1998 Nissan Stagea (Series 2).

Got some plans for it now :P

Cheers,

Corey

That is AWESOME! I want your rear bar :(

Looks lowered? Bodykit is completely factory though (well, Dayz factory) - the Dayz sideskirts, front bar and rear bar were all options. Got a dolphin front grille which isn't standard though (as some people already pointed out).

hey guys, got myself a Stagea about a month ago and thought it was about time i introduced myself here in the stagea section. i've just come from owning a r32 for the last 3 years and thought it was time for something newer and different, but still a RB nissan.

the car is a fresh import, 99 S2 auto, DAYZ kit, dual sunroofs, and all stock apart from the mags it came in with, which i plan to eventually change after i get it lowered.

here is some pics i took.

Got my Stagea a few days ago. Its a s2 with most of the options to increase luxury and reduce performance :domokun: Its got leather interior, xanavi unit, heated seats, cold area options, twin sunroofs etc. Its also got an autech (im pretty sure) front on it, but I dont what the rear bar is yet.. any ideas? Its also got a different spoiler to most I've seen with a brake light in it. The wheels are 17's and it has adjustable tein suspension (a nice bonus to find!) It also had a mystery button on the dash which after some fiddling turns out to be a 'tv works in drive mode thingo' button. *happy dance* Im trying to decide whether I should lower it a bit or not yet, curse you whoever came up the the speed hump idea.... Anyways, here's some pics!

5 years looking 3 months waiting... finally here!

Cheers guys I have spent countless hours being entertained by your posts & reading useful information. I don't think there's a better Stagea resource on the Internet (in English anyway!)

Regards,

DaveB

congrats on the rego from the brotherhood :D

First post here.

I've had a 97 Stagea RS-Four for about a year now:

R34 GT-R face with genuine aluminum hood, FRP fenders and bumper

R34 GT-R wheels

R32 Type-M calipers with slotted/drilled rotors

HID headlights (modified to fit non-HID headlights- the Xenon R34 headlights are $$$)

Cusco front camber arms

Cheap Ebay rear camber arms

Tein coilovers up front

Apex'i coilovers out back

Kouki taillights

HKS Super Dragger (quiet) exhaust and pod filter

Plans are 5 speed swap (got everything but the console, which I plan on ordering from Nissan)

FMIC

Down pipe, front pipe, test pipe

That's about it. This is my wife's daily, so keeping it rather simple.

Pictures of when I first bought it, I guess I need to take some new ones:

34 Series 1

34 Series 2

34 rs260

M35 rs

M35 AR-X

M35 Axis

Or is this a pain in there arse to do?

    • Just throwing around ideas, does it need to be in the compressor cover? Why not the hot side piping?
    • 1/8NPT drill size = 8.7mm. Since the hole got messed up by me, it’s probably around 9mm.    So 1/4” NPT would be next step. A drill size of around 11mm would be preferred there which is not way of my M12 (drill 10.5mm and tap M12 threads)

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
