Hey Nastazia...is the tank empty though...ie when you fill up how many litres can you squeeze in? Reason I say that is the fuel senders in the 33 can be a bit dodgy sometimes and give a false reading. Should definitely be getting more than 250km in a fairly stock skyline.

Well I mean, I've only ever let it run onto red light once in 6 months or so... so I never fill it up from scratch. If I granny drive ALL the time I will get about 280 but yea It's pretty sht seeing as I live in the Vines and do around 500 - 600km per week :D

Tell you what.... next time you fill up keep a check of the actual litres you put in......it is a better way of telling how far you have gone on how much fuel. On mine when it is reading 1/4 left I usually still have at least 30-35 litres :D

once i cleaned the AFM on my old 33 gtst i got 600-620 / tank!

in the GTR im lucky to get around 520-540 / tank

600-620!!!! man i think i might see if that works on mine, i useually get 400-500 from a tank and thats about a 50/50 mix of highway and city (with the more than occasional thrash) driving using vortex or mobil premium, long distance best i got was just under 10L to the 100

this is the thing though.... how many people really get a skyline from japan....change the O2 sensor, clean injectors, clean afm, perhaps clean throttle body...if we all kinda started from a similar starting point engine care wise...we could all be similar perhaps

i havent been through a tank on the 34 yet..but its looking to be about 450...but thats the first tank of heavy right foot driving..

^ The general answer would be yes, but all performance cars are on the rich side to be safe. From just one personal experience where I seen it first hand, I was behind Topaz when he put his foot down & he blew black smoke, I did as well and in my rear view I seen it as well (not letting a gtr get away easily now :)). If black smoke is coming out under normal acceleration, then you worry but otherwise for the type of car it's normal.

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣
    • You’ll be very upset when you bust that too not to mention the gearing totally sucks. Don’t do it.
    • Is the panel filter one that is oiled? Have you ever cleaned or touched the AFM?
    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
