thanks for the comments guys :D

yeah, i've got the full nismo/altia kit but it can't cut it with this front bar....

you'll have to ask troy about what the job was like :D oh and roy, was that your silver 32 out the front of the workshop?

i've partially bought the full SK R34 suspension kit, so that will lower it, but it's kinda adjustable... so i don't know how low i'll be able to go - i think 18's are almost a definite :D -

how much you think i could off load the Advan Model 5's for?

any ideas for skits, rear bars, etc???

oh yeah, that's the other thing... spoiler or no spoiler?

19's? :D dear me... that's prob getting too expensive... altho i like your thinking :D would solve many a problem... but i'm trying to think of tyres changes as well...

there is an option of removing the lower lip - the front bar is a 3 piece... but i don't really want to do that, i know Andrew sometimes doesn't have the full lip, i don't know if that was intentional or not :D

hmm...

cheers lads.... thaka, u might need to take some pics of it sometime... as it's been made clear i can't! :D j/k

i removed the wing and it's ugly what's left, hence i need a full respray so wasn't fussed on chopping the bonnet... but i'm not sure if funds are going to allow it which is a little concerning, $3k

i could put a standard GTT wing on, or a GTR one (hard to find) but i dunno, i don't think on a black car a GTR spoiler looks good from behind... dunno what it is... i think with 18's and maybe lowered a touch, i can get away with no spoiler...

what about these rims...

for sure, i'd love to

just let me know when its done

the gtr spoiler looks good but if you get one, you should cover up the sides that say "GTR"

whats your budget for rims?

i dont think those dori-tek/uras/bee-r rims come in 18"

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
