As title says, this is not BS, and would appreciate some serious input.

Some back-ground info:

Friends of mine (a couple) have just recently (6 months) moved into a house, in the Western suburbs. Everything was OK, till Mrs Smith had a baby and came home from the hospital (about 3 months ago). Since then some unexplainable events have happened, and the only logical conclusion is that there is a spirit present in the house.

Events: (I have not witnessed any of these myself, but believe the couple as their parents have also seen some events)

- Occasionally at night the bed, in main bedroom, gently/slowly shakes as if someone is slowly pushing it from one side.

- Main bedroom door was shut, as they had family over for a visit. During the evening they were sitting in the lounge room, which is opposite the bedroom, and heard the handle twist and the door swing wide open.

- Wardrobe doors opening and closing by themselves.

- Items lift off the kitchen bench and "float" 2 feet across to fall on the floor.

- Stereo volume turns up full blast, by itself, then turn back down when they went near it.

As you can imagine this is pretty damn freaky, especially with a baby, and the couple are now sleeping in the lounge room .

If anyone knows what we can do to remove the 'spirit' (guide it to the 'next step'), or who we can contact (clairvoyants, etc) it would REALLY be appreciated.

Thanks

Alan

Are there large power lines near by?

or mobile phone towers?

I've seen on discovery channel that large EM field from these can create a "poltergihst"(spelling?) from someone who is extreamly stressed or suffers from anxiety.

Just what i've seen on telly.

Not from what i could tell Jarrod.

Also spoke to the neighbours, who have lived there for the past 30+ years and they stated that there has never been anything strange. No suicide, murders, deaths, etc.

The worse/unsettling thing is, it only started happening when the new born was brought home.

hey Al..

similiar things have been happening to a girl at work, she is convinced her house is haunted...

they tried an exorcism and apparently during it the bible that was in the priest's hand flew across the room scaring the crap out of everyone..

and she also showed a photo of her house where u can see an image of a little girl staring out the window...i will see if i can get the pic...

i dont believe in these things at all but just thought i would share what i been hearing at work last 6 months..

What theeee

Al that some freaky stuff... Guess if it's serious go see a Priest as Kris said. Might be able to either point you in the right direction or solve the problem... sounds like some kinda of guardian or something for the kid maybe ...

Hope the kid wasnt borne on the on the 6 of the 6th 06... sorry

I generally dont believe in this kinda stuff either, but where i use to live, there was this one door that was always closed as it was just a storage room, and i had walked past it several times n it was just swinging open, freaked me out!!

Jeez man....can you post the address so I dont end up buying that house......Im freaking scared of ghosts...

Actually, your friends bedroom/bed shaking etc - I experienced that at grade 6 camp. Me and a roommate were woken up by the beds shaking - turned on our torches - but nothing.....it just stopped. No one else there. It was in Inverloch - at some camp site (just 2 buildings - with rooms). I think the only thing I would do is just move - I aint messing with no ghosts or spirits.

As eddie murphy said in Delerious - "I really love this house, this is really nice..... (ghost whispers - "GET OUT") ....too bad we cant stay baby"

Tell them to put the house on ebay, some wackos will pay lots for it BECAUSE it is haunted, but of course they'd need proof :woot:

rush says to put fridge magnets on the fridge with letters so you can see what the ghosts are trying to say, they can rearrange the letters to say things

I say make friends with them (the ghosts)

do a seance(spelling????) a girl i was with years ago was into those crappy tarot cards and seance's....i thought it was shit until we done one.....then i showed two of my mates(who also didnt beleive in them) they were shitting themselves and also telling me that i was pushing the glass..... which i wasnt.....i doubted the one i done with the girl too...untill i done the one with my mates......evadently your supposed to smash the glass so no one can use it later as well.....

Do they have a dog? Walk the dog around the house.

Try to get some more sunshine into the house during day time.

Say something to the spirit, tell them this is your new born, a new family member, if they don't like it, fcuk off.

See a priest about it.

LAST OPTION which lets hope you dont' really have to do this. Like Adrian said, supply 2 slab a day for the whole week to some hardcore SAU VIC to come over and party, till then lets see who disturbing who :woot:.

Just ask the spirit to leave

Light some insent and some candles

Do this in the main rooms that the spirit is in.

PS.. My friend just said your friends may have brought the spirit home from the Hospital....

    • You know how your car rolled through a fence in your last jacking escapade? Scissor jacks increase the likely hood of that sort of thing happening immensely!

    • Just trying to get my head around this. At 5psi of boost, you turn on your wmi pump, and then you're using a 3000cc injector, to allow flow upto the actual engine, where you have your 6x200cc injectors and a 500cc injector. If the above is correct, what advantage are you obtaining by having the 3000cc injector blocking flow, is this just incase a line breaks between that injector and the motor you can stop flow immediately? Or are the 6x200cc and 500cc less injectors and just spray nozzle?
    • Welcome! New member myself, but I had an R33 back in 2002. Best advice I could give, based on my experience: if you're running the factory turbo, be very conservative with boost. I made the mistake of just fiddling around with the boost controller and cranking the boost for fun, and the end result was my intake pipes popping off frequently from the constant deluge of oil that was being blown into the recirc by the stressed-out turbo, which itself was siphoning oil from the engine and farting it out both sides of its centre bearing (or something to that effect). If I could do it all again, I would have gotten a new turbo and had a tune dialled in professionally and then just left it alone! Funny you mention the metal shavings in the gearbox, as I had the same thing - the probe plug (magnetic drain plug, essentially) would come out caked with shavings. At least it was doing its job. Not sure if that's just sacrificial wear and part of the deal, or if my gearbox was shagged, but I wasn't abusing it. Enjoy the R33 - they're a dying breed, and if they weren't $35k+ on CarSales in Queensland, I might have picked up one of those again, instead of the 370GT I own now (though I'm loving the 370GT, that big 3.7L V6 just hits different).
    • Howdy folks. I owned an R33 back in 2002, which was thoroughly beyond my capacity (financially speaking) to maintain/insure, so we parted ways in 2004. Fast forward 21 years (to literally yesterday, in fact) and I'm now the proud owner of a 2007 V36 370GT. I'm happily surprised by how much power the VQ37VHR makes, compared to the RB25DET, considering the latter is turbocharged. I had planned to add a turbo at some point but I'm on the fence about whether I'll even need it (though I do love the sudden onset of extra torque). Any other 370GT owners around the traps, I'd love to hear about your experiences with this car (good and bad).
