Wow, interesting stuff. I wouldn't believe it coming from a lot of other people but from you Al it's pretty freaky stuff! I've seen\heard some similar stuff before, I'm not religious and don't folow the whole heaven thing. I’m not convinced that a priest is the answer. Couple of questions -

1. How old is the house?

2. What suburb\area is the house in?

3. Do they know the history of the land?

4. When was the baby born?

5. Did the events start immediately after the baby was born?

PM me if you’d rather.

Someone's mentioned this vaguely... but I think you should get your friends to contact the hospital in which the baby was born. Ask the staff for records of any deaths that happened at the place around the date of birth and bringing the baby home.

I think it's a spirit that you've "brought home".

Another thing, slightly personal... have any of your friends committed any "crimes"? In Chinese mythology, ghosts will haunt you if you've done something wrong.

Anyways, it's an interesting read, hope it all works out for your friends.

Hey Al

I'm a Christian and I do believe in the spiritual realm and I believe that spiritual things do happen that we cannot understand in the natural/physical realm. It is really crazy stuff that doesn't make any logical sense (I'm a logical thinker). I think if it ever happened to me I would claim the protection I have as a Christian through Jesus Christ. No doubt I would be scared though! I quite often pray for spiritual protection when I stay in motels when I travel with work around victoria. You never know who has stayed in the room/house before you and the lives that they lived and what religion/lifestyle they practiced.

My sister does house clearings for people that have houses with spirits that dwell in them. She can help clear out the spirits and understand why it is happening. She does do this with a Christian perspective however I don't know a lot about it (it freaks me out a bit). She is not a clairvoyant, however she has a sensitivity to the spiritual realm that I do not understand or experience.

She does this a lot as part of her job as a counselor/homeopath/reflexoligist/a lot of other things/ and does travel to the house affected. She has a lot of experience dealing with this and general house clearing when people move into new houses etc. I have heard many stories of similar things happening to other couples and families so this isn't isolated.

I'll PM you her details. Hope this helps.

Russell

Russell: Thanks for the PM, I will talk with my friends and contact your sister, if they haven't found someone already. Really appreciate it buddy.

James: You are a pic whore!!! They shit you find is just unbelievable and hilarious :D.

To others: Please have some RESPECT for my friends and stop all references to their new born as being Damien, etc. First time was a poorly tasted joke, but the others are just not acceptable.

NON-BELIEVERS: If you do not believe, fine, I respect that opinion. But your input (or lack there of) is not helping. Simply ignore this thread and let us gullible ones find a solution to this problem

THANKS

Alan

1/ About 30 years, the neighbours knew the first owners, and the house is on a slab, so it is not too old.

2/ Western Suburbs, near St. Albans.

3/ No idea.............

4/ Edited first post. About 3 months ago.

5/ Events started to be recognised a few weeks after baby was brought home.

have they tried moving away temporarily to see if its the child that's causing the stange occurances or if its the house?

just start eliminating possibilies I reckon. There HAS to be a cause.

Yep........

They moved out for a week and her sister's family (husband, wife and baby) moved in and also experienced a couple of these events. :(

What is a shaman 0.o ?

Oh my god this is some scary crap.

This might sound stupid but have they purchased any second hand or antique furniture? My auntie used to collect antiques and have all sorts of weird shit happen in her house. A wardrobe in particular which only could be opened during the day and made a room cold at night.

    • I'm actually not sure - I think it was "Stealth Performance" (It really is near impossible to find a FEMALE 1/8BSPT to 1/8NPT male at ALL) but having the thing leveraged on a 90 degree angle on a small aluminium fitting is not too smart. Also in not too smart, I've drilled out the center of the broken fitting so there's maybe 0.00001mm of thread to bite into, so yeah. I may have to get it drilled/tapped/plugged entirely. Given I could conceivably tap a thread/adapter/pressure line in any point in the oil system I suppose it's feasible to run a line to the Nissan Sensor to keep the dash working. Do these exist in AN fittings and the like? Like an AN fitting that has a NPT (or other?) thread as well for putting a sensor in?
    • I would agree.  There will be an amount of boost you could run safely with an otherwise factory system, but it would be low enough to not be worth the cost.  And if you are reliving your 20s, you know a 'little bit' was never enough. Personally, if I didn't want to spend the money, then stick with NA bolt-ons, and maybe a tune.
    • Fuark, at least the motor survived. What brand was the fitting that snapped?
    • Wrong question. There's no point in spending the rather large sum of cash and effort to add turbo, without taking it to the "sensible" limit of the motor itself. If you have to upgrade injectors, etc, then so be it. That is a tiny fraction of what it will cost you to turbo it.
    • Measure voltage at the starter solenoid terminal when the key is at start and it has clicked. If it is really low, then the suspicion falls on the ignition switch (contacts or wiring thereof) as causing a voltage drop instead of sending enough volts to throw the solenoid all the way to engage the starter itself. If it is a decent voltage, then the suspicion is on the solenoid. Might have s horted coil, or might hva dirty contacts. Rip the starter off, dismantle, clean up contacts and inspect winding. It might not be possible to see if there is a short in the winding though. I have a spare starter here that I could measure the resistance of the coil, as a guide to about what it should be, if you need a comparison. <parts hoarder>No you cannot have it.</parts hoarder>
