The guy that owned it before me imported it with no wing and no sunroofs due to them causing rust.i would of loved the sunroofs tho! the wheels are called prodrive i like them but want a set of deep dish 5 spokes

Never seen a S2 260RS over here. Did it come without the rear spoiler or did you take it off?

Wheels suit the car - what are they?

Hi Alex, have a few minor plans i.e exhaust, english conversion of stereo...... but maintaince and filling the 80litre tank with 98($2.32 in NZ at t moment) seem to soak up a lot cash. She is sitting pretty low, maybe a little too low but haven't had any trouble with the law so far, just speed bumps :D Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome Christian!

Looks low! Any plans for it, or just a cruiser?

Plenty of info around on here to answer many of the common questions- a search will give you most of the info! Hope you enjoy your stay!thumbsup.gif

I like it too Dale!thumbsup.gif

How much power? Is this the one that we got a couple of teaser shots from with the engine build?

My only wish would be some larger profile tyres to fill up the guards a bit, and I'd say I'd want some decent rubber under me when your going to put that snail into action- not Achilles!

R33 Huntme:

Thats the first 260RS I have seen with the same bar as my pretender.

Do your foglights do anything useful towards lighting up the road?

I ask as mine don't.

I cant get the quote to show your images....

Nice looking car. I generally prefer my S1 but that looks better than the S1 260RS models I have seen. Also prefer the rear spoiler shown rather than the semi detached ones ususlly seen on 260Rs. Would like to see it with roof bars gone.

After sitting in the garage too long and getting a flat battery. I decided to take the beast to Bathurst since we were visiting friends over the weekend. Took a +700km round trip from Hunter Valley through Bylong, Ryelstone and Bathurst and back.

No other sports car I know of can "consume" all this luggage and camping gear for 2 adults and two lil girls under 5 years old. All this weight on board and it is still quicker than ANYTHING on the road...

Car looks great. Where did you got the roll bar setup from ?

It came with the car when I purchased it. I am led to believe it was imported into Australia with it already installed. Its an 8 point roll cage.

I love it Global Warmer. I have to agree, these cars are so versatile. Last weekend we took it camping, this weekend we loaded it with furniture one day and then the next day hit Mt Nebo for a bit of fun :)

Thought I'd jump on board and post some photos, not that it doesn't look like every other factory Axis at this stage :)

Photo's are pre-import thanks to Iron Chef Imports.

Few modifications since then.

    • Plan on the day will be to park trackside. Depending on space availability we will try put a small shade tent and a few of the cars on top of the hill inside turn 3, this is an easy to get to parking area with views of Turn 2, Turn 3, Turn 4 and Turn 5 and limited other pieces of the view around the track. IMPORTANT NOTE! One consideration from previous years is from memory the trackside parking sells out before the admission tickets, for that reason I encourage anyone planning on coming to buy tickets for parking now via the official website; https://www.worldtimeattack.com/ The type of parking you are looking for is 2 Day Park & View (Access Around Venue) Vehicle Pass Only Please note this does not include admission to the event itself, remember to grab that also, and kids under 12 get in for free!
    • This is going to be a mid week evening cruise. Come along and join us for a drive out to Palm Beach. This is a change of event plans after talking to some of the older members of the club. SAU NSW is planning on hitting Old Pac again shortly, stay tuned for details. When: Thursday 26th of June Time: 7:30pm meet/8:00pm departure/10:00pm finish Meet: Spit West Car Park / Spit Rd Mosman NSW 2088 Destination: Palm Beach Public Parking / 16 Ocean Rd Palm Beach NSW 2108 Up to date information as always can be found on the events page of our website, the link for this event is https://www.saunsw.com.au/events/palm-beach-cruise There will be a lead and follow car so no one should get lost. If you would like to attend or bring others along please put your name down and a +1 as numbers will be needed prior! This is NOT a race and we will all be adhering to all road rules. If this is what you want please come to one of our track days. This is an official SAUNSW event and will be run under a Motorsport Australia permit. One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. Thanks guys and hope to see you there!
    • Good time for a carbon roof
    • Not in any way aroused by any of those, except maybe the big AMGs. And that would break my never a Euro, ever, rule.
