So 10pm tonight? having not been a canberra local, you are referring to the National Museum car park? is it big, or any specific section to drive to?

if i can find it, i will be there :D

Yes 10 is fine, any time from 9.30 really. Yes the National Museum car park near the entrance/exit.

If you keep going this regularly you might as well look into buying wakefield, cheaper for you in the long run :)

if we have enough sausage sizzles we might be able to build a track closer to home :D

Hey guys, I'll be down from Sydney tomorrow for the long weekend and would like to see a nice turn out tomorrow night so I can have a visit and catch up with you all :D see you out there tomorrow, someone just tell me a time!

It was great to meet you out at the Museum SL33KY!

Was my first time out at one of the "Friday Night Meets" and caught up with Cejay, SL33KY and a couple of other guys (sorry, cannot for the life of me, remember your names/usernames).

I wasn't even going to go out Friday night, but my mate was keen to see a couple of Skylines up close. Turned out to be a bad decision as I was pulled into an RBT station on Melrose Drive and was defected on the exhaust (i thought i would, 95db) but the inspector has sent me for a full inspection instead of just the exhaust level check. So, here comes an engineers cert sooner than I was hoping (waiting for funds to increase as always).

Damn that sux sfrizza, Im dreading the day that I get pulled over and defected

I can see it now... pull over... you're defected sir for having more than four times the allowable limit of frangipanis on your car

You know that one day Im going to turn up at the track with a packet of stick on franjipani's and plaster them all over your nice black formula 4000... Then Im going to take at least half a dozen photo's and spread them all over the net! :)

Mick

I think everyone has enough money to "rub you out"......

It would only cost 20cents to put a hit out on you!!! :action-smiley-069::D

Hey I let you have the last dig at him... but be warned now, he's my biatch, leave him alone :D

Im beginning to wonder whether I should cancel my membership, sell my Skyline and quit my job just so that you will all know how much Im worth when you realise that you cant get tyres for the right price, you dont have anyone who is a wealth of automotive knowledge (cos I am so smart S.M.R.T) and you dont have anyone to pay out on.

At the moment Im writing my naughty list and its filling up fast. :)

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
