The turbo I'm going for will be 300rwkw @ 20psi on pump fuel, full boost 3700ish rpm (getting 6boost manifold)

The HKS 2835KAI is only making 255rwkw @ 18psi with full boost around 3400rpm

I've spoken to others and this is all they are making

The Pro S that I originally wanted, sure. Would be more then happy with it

But the KAI has proven to be nothing compared to the Pro S.

Thats about the same as my ss1pu on 16psi psi of boost, full boost on 3250rpms 4th gear. Run 3076R in .63 rear internally gated on your current setup won't make much more then what you've got, probably just add in more lag, unless you turn that on a 6boost with a large externally gated, unless turning into e85 or WMI.

Pretty sure Hypergears makes biggest bolton internally gated turbos you can find, How ever won't make their peek efficiency been used as a bolton, I believe the limit is 280rwkws unless you go for a better manifold or butcher the stock manifold.

Your 2835kai already has a 3071 core, you can just get the surge holes plugged and run that on a high mount with externally gated setup, that should be getting around the 280rwkws mark. Best have a look through the dyno sheet section for what manifold, gate and cam setup that most people have got and made 300rwkws+ with.

Yeah 280rwkw was the goal with the 2835 although the pro s' do push a little past that at times

The goal is a g2.5 int gated on the 6boost manifold. E85 later on to push up near 350rwkw (going off stao's results)

There's much more going on pre Turbo but the Turbo was gonna go on in the mean time so I can sell the HKS Turbo

Rob: Greddy rip off has been solid. No issues at all. Will have a proper look when I pull it off but looks good so far

Get the latest SS2 and put it on a 6boost, much better response. their prices has been marked down recently. Run that on a high mount and external gate and E85 it probably be making more then Stao's car as he always been running internal gate.

New Origin +50mm Overfenders have turned up look pretty awesome, i have also ordered my rims today :woot: f**k yeah can't wait ended up getting Work Meister S1R Front: 18x9.5 +12 R Disk and Rear: 18x11.5 -8 O Disk. Gonna look pure sexual.

A little bit more shit to pull out and she will be ready for fully chassis stitch weld and rollcage. Show much shit to get thrown out i managed to fill a box trailer and my wheelie bin so far and my shed still looks like a junk yard.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
