Any thoughts on a Silver R34 GTR?

Only reason I am not 100% keen is because I have already owned a silver GTS-T.

Sliver or White is a good choice, all the others

-Bayside Blue yuck not a fan of it.

-MNP in all 3 versions impossible to keep clean(been there done that will my R33 GTR)

-Black is the same hard to keep clean

-Millenium Jade, good luck getting that colour I do like it but, would be my pick just because its rare.

-Yellow is shit also (been there done that also my 350Z).

Thanks for all of the input. Ben, I am starting to think that you are right on the money. I have been wanting bayside blue but I am starting to think the colour is a bit full on for me. Don't want white though, I dunno, just not keen on it. They look good, but I just don't want to own a white car? haha

My favourite colour is actually that darker grey that came in the later models. These are the colour codes:

KR4 - Darker Grey - in later models

KV2 - Most common, like the R33 GTS-T silver (Mine in my sig)

WV2 - Lighter than KV2

Here are some pics from another thread:

R34 GTRs are definitely getting rare - I am having trouble finding them these days. Auctions are just white ones, or crashed ones.

I missed a spot in the second photo, looks pretty obvious now but maybe it was just to late when I was playing with photos lol

pics came up well Cal, looking good.

regarding colours on 34 GTR's i'd say white is my favourite - take Scott's GTR for example. I also am a fan of the grey, Bayside Blue looks great with black wheels.

The yellow i don't mind either, definitely not my first second or third choice but i've seen yellow GTR's come up looking really nice

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
