the more i look at the p-nbc the more it looks like an emanage. but i think the emenage has a few more features, but then i haven't seen a proper english feature list for the p-nbc, just translated ones which doesn't have the best translation.

the emenage can be hooked up to a mpa sensor so you can map above the max limit of the afm. can raise rev limit, get rid of boost cut (reading straight off the greddy site so don't start with the rich and retard crap), add injectors, self tune when hooked up to a wideband o2 sensor (closed loop basically). here's the site for more info on the emanage. i'd say the p-nbc is going to have a lot of the features this does.

10ltr/100ks Hiway, 8.5 round town, avg 9, if thats bad whats good?

Ditto, pretty much what I get with my microtech ltx-12 on my s1 RB25DET. Got 600k's to the tank the other week mainly highway, and that's with a 4.4:1 diff, so imagine cruising on ~3500rpm.

can someone with an rb26 PFC open it up and take a photo of the processor?

and anyone who has ordered a really recent rb26 pfc open it up and do the same? im interested in what processor it has

or just a pic inside any rb26 ecu would be a good start, stock remapped or PFC is fine

nah im just curious as to why the 26 version is still in production and the 25 isnt, they use a different chip perhaps? i need to see inside a 26 PFC

but yeah u can use a 26 PFC on an rb25, buy you loose VCt or youll have to hack up your VCt controller

a link in my sig for 2nd hand units. also a link here

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...4201&st=20#

for a possibility of adapting rb26 PFC onto rb25, a few items of attention but certainly possible.

if anyone has any information on this it would be great to try and kick off as a club. i can offer my R33 and can buy a 26 PFC to use and test with, providing we dont blow it up.

would be handy, would mean working airtemp support as well

Hi Guys,

First of all I would like to thank Paul and all of those who have contributed to his FAQ on Power FC. I have no doubt that this is the BEST english resource for power FC - and has been helpful to many an hacker and professional alike. So - thankyou Paul.

Secondly - if anyone is looking for ECR33 or ER34 power FC's - I know that Just Jap had a few last time I spoke to them (which was today). I also know of another shop that has SOME ECR33's - but they are not a forum sponsor (yet) so I dont think it would be right of me to plug them....

Big Shame about the ECR33 and ER34 power FC's.... I hope apex finds it in there heart to develop a new model...

Cheers

Steve

Nengun had removed even the R32 GTR PFC's from there site for a while but are available again, I've just bought one and they are instock from www.performance-wise.com

Hi Steveo,

Your mate doesnt have squat. I paid him money for one nearly 2 weeks ago under the pretense that he had stock in hand (well according to eBay he did) and I still havent got it. Please ensure nathan has stock in his hand before making comments like that.......

Tell him Sam is still patiently waiting for his PFC.

Also...when you speak to him tell him to get me that EMS tracking number ASAP

    • Hi all,   long time listener, first time caller   i was wondering if anyone can help me identify a transistor on the climate control unit board that decided to fry itself   I've circled it in the attached photo   any help would be appreciated
    • I mean, I got two VASS engineers to refuse to cert my own coilovers stating those very laws. Appendix B makes it pretty clear what it considers 'Variable Suspension' to be. In my lived experience they can't certify something that isn't actually in the list as something that requires certification. In the VASS engineering checklist they have to complete (LS3/NCOP11) and sign on there is nothing there. All the references inside NCOP11 state that if it's variable by the driver that height needs to maintain 100mm while the car is in motion. It states the car is lowered lowering blocks and other types of things are acceptable. Dialling out a shock is about as 'user adjustable' as changing any other suspension component lol. I wanted to have it signed off to dissuade HWP and RWC testers to state the suspension is legal to avoid having this discussion with them. The real problem is that Police and RWC/Pink/Blue slip people will say it needs engineering, and the engineers will state it doesn't need engineering. It is hugely irritating when aforementioned people get all "i know the rules mate feck off" when they don't, and the actual engineers are pleasant as all hell and do know the rules. Cars failing RWC for things that aren't listed in the RWC requirements is another thing here entirely!
    • I don't. I mean, mine's not a GTR, but it is a 32 with a lot of GTR stuff on it. But regardless, I typically buy from local suppliers. Getting stuff from Japan is seldom worth the pain. Buying from RHDJapan usually ends up in the final total of your basket being about double what you thought it would be, after all the bullshit fees and such are added on.
    • The hydrocarbon component of E10 can be shittier, and is in fact, shittier, than that used in normal 91RON fuel. That's because the octane boost provided by the ethanol allows them to use stuff that doesn't make the grade without the help. The 1c/L saving typically available on E10 is going to be massively overridden by the increased consumption caused by the ethanol and the crappier HC (ie the HCs will be less dense, meaning that there will definitely be less energy per unit volume than for more dense HCs). That is one of the reasons why P98 will return better fuel consumption than 91 does, even with the ignition timing completely fixed. There is more energy per unit volume because the HCs used in 98 are higher density than in the lawnmower fuel.
    • No, I'd suggest that that is the checklist for pneumatic/hydraulic adjustable systems. I would say, based on my years of reading and complying with Australian Standards and similar regulations, that the narrow interpretation of Clause 3.2 b would be the preferred/expected/intended one, by the author, and those using the standard. Wishful thinking need not apply.
