Have to say a big thanks to all the officials and volunteers of the day, aswell as the committee for organising another top notch DECA!!

Thanks guys, had a ball in the Team 4 Door Red Sedan Super Taxi :laugh:

Pity I couldn;t stay up on the saturday night, but looks like you all had enough fun without me! :)

Top pics aswell guys

Thanks to all those who had a part getting the event organised. It was a fantastic weekend, with too much sun, petrol fumes, alcohol, music and lack of sleep. Just like any other SAU VIC weekend!

Awesome pics guys. I'm sure there are more to come as well! See you all at the Meeting on Tuesday!

Ahhh Shepparton - its gets funnier and funnier every time.

Thanks to all for a fantastic weekend.

All the funny things I could remember have already been posted, but I'd like to add in:

* Taco Bills - messiest dinner ever

* Adz pole dancing upstairs at Yahoo

* Mavric :laugh:

* The strippers - everything was funny

* Pete for bringing some random chick back to the houses

* Chris getting T-bagged

* Pete Sunday and putting his DECA shirt on backwards Sunday morning

* Other people being more seedy than me for a change :laugh:

Things that were not funny - stopping every 20 kms on the way home so Chris could fill his car with oil.

Bring on 2007!!!

:)

Anyone got pics of me 'riding the cactus' @ the Strip club?

HAHA. That was so funny. Min took a photo. But the fat strippers went and dibba-dobbed on us and security pulled min out the front and made her delete the photo. Even thou there was nothing in it other than u and the catus-horse.

Didn't you break their cactus too?

Oh My God.

Highlights...

* Pete no longer the only one to blow up a Radiator at Deca!!

* Most Deborcherous night of Taco Bills Ever

*$136.50 bill at Tace Bills = Pete drinking 3 1.5 Litle Poncha Villas of Supercharged Strawberry plus some nachoes and Fajitas

* Saff Cosie and James both getting Chillied at Tace Bills..... More on that later!

* Biggest Taco Bills Photo ever

* Hat dancing at Yahoo

* Riding the Bulls

* meeting soo many hat wearing people on the walk back from the Tudor to the Caravan park

More to come.

Yeah definatly an awesome weekend. So So messy. Thanks to all who helped out.

For the record my car used 11L of oil on the trip home due to a crack in a hard pipe turbo oil line. Car still had good oil pressure, so we could still drive home. Lucky GTR's have an oil pressure guage which I didn't take my eyes off the whole trip home.

Sorry Adz for being behind me - Bring your car round and i'll give it a wash for ya.

Sorry Mav for blowing up your radiator - All fixed now with my spare radiator.

Sorry for daring ppl to drink the insanity hot sauce - Stupid to accept that challenge

The close ups of james (and Alans) cars were pretty wide angle.

I had 2 lenses with me, a 17-85mm (17ish gave the really wide look) and a 100-400mm for the telephoto track stuff.

good pics well :)

look ace

the close up shot of james's car

is that done in a different mode?

looks "wide"

Let me tell you "The Tale of two Chilli's" sauces.....

Story number one.

Participants…. Bass Junky, James, Piece of my Fajita Beef, Lots of After Death Sauce.

James comes over and says “This Chilli sauce isn’t hot”

I say.. “Yes it is, it’s really f**king hot”

James.. “ Nah it’s not, you’re a pussy”

James then proceeds to baste his piece of meat in the chilli sauce until it was completely covered.

James eat’s said chilli covered meat.

“James says, that’s not hot. No wait. It’s hot. It’s really hot. HOLY f**k THIS SHIT IS f**kING HOT!”

James then proceeds to turn red and starts to sweat, all the time drinking from various PVs.

Pete laughs and says “Ha Ha, I told you so man!!!”

General hilarity ensues.

Story Number two.

Participants…. Bass Junky, Chrisman, Nathan, Saff Cossie, Straw full of After Death Sauce.

Pete fills straw of After Death sauce and asks Chrisman to distract Nathan whilst Pete attempts to spice up Nathans meal.

Nathan is too clever for us and attempt fails.

At almost the same time, Chrisman snatches the straw full of After Death Sauce and jams it in Saff Cossie’s PV, removes existing straw and departs the scene.

Nothing happens for a few minutes until Saff Cossie tries a little bit of the chilli on some food and his finger. He thinks “man this is hot, I had better drink some PV to cool my mouth down”

Saff Cossie drinks from the ‘infected straw’ and his world suddenly starts to close in around him.

He turns red, sweats, breaks down and start hallucinating.

Then he rubs his eyes cos they are watering…… with the finger that he earlier dipped into Chilli.

Everyone almost dies with laughter…. Triple Chilli hit.

More general hilarity.

One of the funniest chilli incidents I’ve ever been a party too!

lol all good chris nothing to stress about, was going to happen sooner or later at least this way pete dont feel all alone for blowing his radiator on the skid pan... besides also give me an excuse to go buy something stronger :O

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
